Family Hub not worth the money

I bought this 3 months ago and wish I hadn't. 3 major things make this not user friendly. 1. The family hub is a waste of money. The apps are difficult to manage both on the refrigerator and in the Smart Things app on your phone. The Family Hub will tell what you should do to correct the problem but then those options aren't even available in settings as it says. I've spent hours trying to make this work properly with no luck. 2. The icemaker doesn't stay cold enough to keep ice in cube form, it just turns into a chunk of ice after only a couple days. Found out from the in-laws who have Samsung refrigerators this is a common problem across the models. Additionally, the water spout doesn't allow for easy filling of water bottles. It is too deep and short and always ends up making a mess. But that's OK, the water mess can just join the ice chunk mess on the floor. 3. The organization is awful. The shelves are not adjustable and there are only 2 large drawers. It make everything in the refrigerator into a big jumble of stacked items.

The cooling and freezing are very good. The icemaker is a bit unreliable and I don't think it makes as much as it good.

Honestly I thought we were purchasing a super fancy and cool fridge. However, there ate lots of things that it still needs in order to become what they promote it as….the ice and water dispenser doesn’t have a light, the family hub freezes u cant do many things on it unless u have an android/samsung device many features dont work properly and its realy poor quality well too me atleast.

[Rewarded Review] Never got my replacement and loat 2 days of work

Refridgerator good. Delivery not so much. So long story shirt the 1st fridge was leaking ao i glt a replacement. Delivery guy told me my existing fridge just needs the rubes connected under it. I insisted i still would like replacement dont feel comfortable already having an issue. So he goes get the replacement and tells me the replacement is damaged so cant bring it in. 2 days off from work and best buy tells me its ok cus it comes woth a 1 year warranty from samsung.

I should have been told that the refrigerator out

When the refrigerator was delivered 10/24/24 there was a dent in the door above the Hub screen. I was late told when I called in about the status, that Lowes will no longer carry that refrigerator. They said they could pick it up and start the search over again. Also, they offered me a little 50.00 for the dent.

Pretty and the screen is cool but NOPE!!!!

Very pretty appliance and the big screen is very cool but..... The ice maker is extremely slow, and the bin is way too small. The fridge shelves are not adjustable, and the door bins are way too shallow. This diminishes its storage capacity greatly!

Great Fridge!! I use Samsung and Iphone both connect great with smart things app, can see inside the fridge without need to open it also ice maker and water dispenser are really convenient, we can see tv and listen music and so many things on the smart fridge... great quality will see about durability its just been a month too soon to rate durability... so far great purchase

Love this unit what an upgrade from our 14 year old fridge that died- This unit had a great price and a super add on gift card that dropped the price even more ! Plus it has a 10 year compressor warranty. Grand kids love the screen and work it better than we do ( love the drawing feature)

[Rewarded Review] Cool looking fridge but App connectivity issues

I purchased this model because of its Smart capabilities. I was unable to connect and sync to the Family Hub App & Smart Things App after multiple attempts even though the router was literally a few feet away. Since its a rental property, I purchased the fridge due to the Smart capabilities for ease of maintenance. I contacted Samsung directly for troubleshooting. The recommended steps I had already attempted many times with no success.

This refrigerator is wonderful. I purchased it at a great price and it runs great. It doesn't make all the noise as my previous refrigerator. The shelves in this unit are very sturdy, and plenty of shelves. There are two bins, one is large and the other is small, but they hold quite a bit of fruit and veggies. The shelves in the door are great for milk and juice and other glass and plastic jars. I couldn't of picked a better refrigerator for the price. I have no regrets purchasing this unit.

[Rewarded Review] Samsung Refridgerator

Have always had good luck with Samsung appliances. Unfortunately on recent move we bought new Samsung washer, dryer and refridge. Very disappointed with the Samsung refridge. The feezer side works fine but unfortunately the refrige side acts like a freezer as well. Have followed manual and have raised temp to 44 degrees but still temperature still 32.7 degrees. Have lost all food on refridge side as it is frozen and still waiting for Best Buy to come out and repair it. More to come whenever we can get someone out to repair it.

Fancy but not icy

I bought this refrigerator After my last one went out, the touchscreen is great. The all-around cooling is unique, but the icemaker is laughable.

i got my samsung refrigerator with family hub and i can't begin to tell you how fun it's been. this fridge comes loaded with so many features from making grocery shopping lists to show you how to cook a new dish! the family hub connects with my ring front door camera and the build-in inside camera lets you have a quick look at things inside. The temperatures for the freezer as well fridge can be set from the screen with no buttons to tweak inside. the speaker is loud and perfect for music or cooking tutorials. the screen is large and has really smooth transitions and minimal lags, and allows multitasking. the samsung refrigerator has enough space to store a week's food supply for a family of 6. i will definitely recommend it to family and friends this samsung refrigerator.

Don't buy a Samsung refrigerator. I bought this refrigerator and have had nothing but problems. The refrigerator section is inconsistent at best. My refrigerator maintains a temperature between 50 and 70 degrees. The freezer keeps food frozen, but freezer burns food also. I've had to turn the ice maker off because it was leaking under the refrigerator when on. I have tried contacting Samsung and they want to charge someone to come out and take a look. There's thousands of people that have had trouble with Samsung refrigerators. If you look on social media, you'll find plenty of people with their own stories about this brand and the known issues with their ice makers and problems.
