Internal Tilt Switch

It ran great one year, then wouldn’t hold a flame the next year. I thought the thermocouple was bad so I took it apart and found two internal safeties. One is a thermal overload that shuts the unit off if it overheats, the second is a tilt switch that shuts the unit off if it tips over. I reassembled and gave the unit a few hard shakes to reset the tilt switch and it ran just fine. I wouldn’t be surprised it other manufacturers with similar products have the same safeties. Product is a little inconvenient to light with having to hold down one button on one side and click another one on the other side, but works great. Really puts out the heat!!

The gas line had a leak and this was unsafe and never worked.

Works good and I am happy with this equipment. I would like to use it on big propane tanks meant for fork lifts and would appreciate if Wallmart could supply that adapter as well. Of courser ready to pay the extra price for that adapter.
