The cook top is working well. The delivery people did not read their directions for where to deliver the item but luckily someone was home and it didn’t get stolen off the porch.

It didn't fit as a replacement, but my installer took over 48 hours to install it in my rental, so I can't return it. I'm just stuck with the cooktop.

coils will not get hot enough to boil water, poorly made, it will be returned

This is an adequate cooktop

If you are a canner or use heavy pots to cook in I would suggest looking for a heavier duty stovetop. This is great for basic cooking but once I put my canner on it, it sagged slightly to the center. Trying to use a weighted pressure cooker on a stovetop that does not set level does not work.

New electric cooktop

First concerned small open space after product installed, then delighted cooktop able to lift up for easier cleaning of spillovers. Moreover, provided small roll of thin black rubber to cover space yet allow to easier lift stovetop for cleaning.

I am very disappointed in this product. The eyes are very slow to heat up. No one carries replacement drip pans including Lowe's where I bought it. The only way to get replacements is through Summit and they cost almost $100. Do not recommend this product.

I would never buy anything from Summit again

Had a burner go out within 2 months, took a month to get replacement parts to the summit authorized repair company. Repair was made, worked fine for 2 weeks and then two burners went out. Summit now wants to replace the whole cook top, but I have to provide the labor. I would never buy anything from Summit again.

Easy to install. Parts a bit light weight. Difficult to find replacement parts including drip pans except from manufacturer at very high prices.

Double check the dimensions for install.

It was what I expected it to be

The wiring is aluminum not copper which could be a fire hazard. It had a lot of sharp edges around the burners. Would not buy again.

I just bought CR430SS cooktop last week. Installation was easy. Cooking is slow, very slow. It takes 9 minutes to boil two cups of water in a covered pot on a 6-inch burner. My previous cooktop used to take only 5 minutes. Other burners are also slow too. You can buy this cooktop if have all the time to cook one meal for a family.

this unit takes 4 time as long to boil water as my last coil burner stove. Elements do not get red hot, my old stove brought my pressure cooker to 15 lbs in 40 minutes, this one took 2 hours and 40 minutes to do same. Do not buy unless you have a lot of time on your hands

Looks and Works Great

Heats thick cast iron skillet fast. We got this instead of a flat top because it’s easy to maintain and won’t stain. Sent model info to countertop fabricators and they cut the hole accordingly. Fits well into countertop cutout. I installed this myself. Just needed to add electric plug from my old cooktop onto this one. The stainless steel and coil look gives it a clean modern yet nostalgic feel.

Not satisfied

Disappointed with the setting of burners. Too close together and off set.
