Dont buy. Leaks badly

There should be a zero star rating, because thats what I would give this piece of junk.. Just bought it and can't stop the leak where the stub hose attaches to the unit. I have tried new washers, teflon tape, pipe thread compound and all of these together and it will not stop leaking here. And not just a drip, a very substantial leak. Waste of $100. I threw it in the garbage and it is less than a week old.

I love that it has a little storage table on top. It holds my small water hose perfectly. It's lightweight and easy to wind up when done with the hose.

The function of this hose winder is very sturdy and easy to use. The attachment ports for screws are easy to insert and install. I highly recommend using this product.

It does the job but not the best quality

It's kind of cheaply made, the guide track on it's own. Where the hose connects to the reel is poorly designed. The handle sounds like it's going to break when I'm reeling in the hose.

nice reel action - I like the sliding guide for reeling the hose in and out. pretty sturdy, but the plastic brackets break after a few years, which is simply bad design. It is no longer listed as a product on Suncast site, so perhaps they agree. I purchased this one because I didn't want to have to re-drill holes in my stucco.

Disappointing.

The reel is too light weight for my existing hose so I had to purchase a lighter hose.The water connection hose was so thin that it kinked and I had to buy one that is more stable. I'm hoping it lasts since I've had to make more purchases for it to be usable..

i am replacing the same

i am replacing the same reel that broke. wanted the same thing cause the bolts were already in my house. not sure if its such a great product if its broken after only a couple of years. I guess i should reach out to Suncast.

This product was delivered in a well packaged manner. I appreciated the care it was given as well as the expedient delivery.

Garbage

I bought this past summer and now my hose connector to reel is broken and also the plastic were the screw is hanging is slowly but surely ripping. Very dissappointed with this purchase!

Horrible design.

I am a mechanical engineer. The hose connecting to the outlet is poorly designed and lack of manual ( I purchased an open box product) was not available to figure out the simple hose connection Avoid

Good buy

Works well when rolling up the hose. Easy to unroll as well.

Works Great. Only feature it is lacking is a way to lock down the hose guide.

Worthless piece of junk

I got one in Sept 2016 used it for one month and put it in the shed for the winter. In April when I wanted to hook it up I had a big surprise. The connector that hooks up the feed to the wheel broke and all system leaks. It is bad engineered and not worth $69. Lowe's did not want to take it back and urged to contact the manufacturer for warranty. Not a good story.

Good product, good value.

Hose reel is great. Easy to install. Keeps the hose off the ground avoiding the typical knotted up hose. The shelf on top is really handy too.
