May be a good choice for a DIY

Seems like a good value due to low price vs other pumps. If it fails within 90 days I can exchange it. After that it will cost about what a more expensive unit would if I do the labor myself. If you are paying someone to fix your cooler I would select one with a much better warranty. The one I replaced would cost 3X but has a 3X warranty. I was willing to roll the dice to see if the cheap one will work well enough for me.

Used to remove the last two inches of dirty water in my spa. It had been almost 1.5 years since the spa was in use.

Should be $5 less. Seems all flimsy plastic…

Decent for the price

I’ve used this for my portable cooler for awhile. I’m on my 3rd pump, they tend to burn out after 2-3 years. For the price it’s not bad and does a good job.

A trick to keep it alive.

It is still working, but if water splashes on or enters the upper motor area it will not keep working. We went through two prior failures because of water issues. We suggest that when removing the plastic cover it comes in, just leave the upper wrapping on, only exposing the lower part to water. Leaving the packaging on the upper half has prevented water from splashing into the electrical components.

Lasted one season

Working with some very clear and clean well water in so. east Arizona that never hits triple digit weather in our climate. Bought this last season for the house that shares an FAU as well ducting and replacing it here in first week July following season. Disapointed as the nearest Lowes to our location in the middle of nothing is 68 miles/1 1/2 hour drive.

Always keep 2 on hand for back ups!

We always keep 2 for back up for our swamp cooler. The swamp cooler has paid for itself over and over again in reduced electric bills.
