summons has the best tub shower valves and this one went into our condo renovation as a replacement.

My plumber highly recommends Symmons products but ended up not using the rapid install straps. Not sure why but still happy with the product.

We put these valves in four bathrooms. The rapid install makes them much easier to install for only a modest premium.

Worthless

I’m a plumber and I was doing repair work for a senior living center that was built like a year ago and they installed this valve in all the showers. Many of them are leaking and repair parts are outrageously expensive. Then you have to buy specific tools to remove the internal parts.

Rough-in valve

The correct valve for dual shower head Symmons system (Duro Pressure Balanced Shower System with Shower Head, Hand Shower, Slide Bar, Shower Arm, Hose, and Valve Trim). It took us a few trys with the Build reps to get the correct rough-in valve for the trim kit, but this one is working now.

Plumber agreed this was very easy to install and good quality.

good valve - nice available options

This valve is well constructed and has many features. I specifically like the integrated diverter for tub to shower. This is nice so you don't have to install a tub spout diverter. The quality is very good, no issues with threads or fit.

Was super easy to install. Finished removing the old one, installing the new one in maybe thirty minutes.

This is a great valve that is made in the USA. It is sturdy and very well constructed. The Rapid Install system makes it a lot easier to install and the easy service stop should be handy for future maintenance. It was not available at my local Home Depot so I had to order online and it took a few days to arrive. I would suggest ordering in advance if you need it.

Installed in a newly remodeled tub/shower. Works really well. My contractor said it was easy to install with the Rapid Install bracket and the quality is topnotch. I'll take his word for it. I'm just enjoying the lovely showers.
