Great item, instalation was straight forward. Only issue was hinge screws, Phillips head stripped easy. Changed out to torque drive. All is well. Like the design.

Quality Product

Very happy with this shower door - materials are very high quality. Installation instructions could be a little more detailed but they probably purposefully are a little vague because they highly recommend using a professional installer. Definitely need two people at several times during installation. My only complaint is that the screws provided for mounting the hinges are supposedly Stainless Steel - if they are stainless it is a small percentage. I stripped the heads of several screws. But fortunately they provide a lot of extras.

In the past few months I purchased 2 Dreamline shower, 1 large 60" x 72" double door and 1 small single door with a six inch fixed glass side/wall models. The large one has been installed for 2 months and the smaller single shower was only installed a week ago. I stronger suggest having a contractor or experienced handyperson do the installation. We did have to call the 'installation' helpline a few times. Although the wait times to speak with someone directly can take a while 20 mins to an hour+ the customer service / assistance were knowledgeable and helpful. I purchased my Dreamline showers from Home Depot online and found their pricing for each of the two showers competitive--in fact I spent less than most of the in store models. Still I recommend that every shopper due their diligence AKA shop around!

GREAT SHOWER ENCLOSURE - BUT!!

Great product in general, well packaged, lots of sizes and configurations on offer which is fantastic. Lowe's were great as usual. The only issue I had during the install was the screws that come with it and attach the hinges to the wall are JUNK and I stripped the philips heads as soon as they met with the slightest resistance. They stripped so easily and badly that I had to use pliers and vice grips to get some of them out. Very annoying when you pay good money for a quality product to find the manufacturer has cheapened up on one of the most important pieces. Dreamline - you owe me $14 and an hour of my time. My advice is if you buy these doors go and purchase some proper stainless steel screws. Other than that, I would have given this shower enclosure 5 stars....

Poor customer service - door handle does not fit

I can't recommend this shower door. The quality of the glass and hinges are good. However the shower door handle does not fit the holes cut into the glass door. Calls to customer service are not answered.

Overall the door is fantastic and really makes our shower stand out. My opening was right on 46" so fitting the door into the space was very tight but worked out well. The screws that were supplied with the hardware are not good and strip out easily when trying to drive them into pre-drilled studs in the wall. That is why I gave it four stars instead of five. I had to go out and get better stainless screws that worked much better. Overall it took me the better part of a day to get this installed but am very happy with it.

We decided to replace our old-fashioned framed sliding door with this frameless hinged door (see picture) as part of a complete bath remodel. It took a little while to finish everything but now that it is installed, except for the heads of the hinge screws (which are exposed), we think it looks great (see picture).

I had my finished walls at 60-1/4". The gap between the fixed panel and the door ended up at about 1/8" which is perfect for me. I could have done with 60-1/2" finished wall since the fixed panen on this model allows for some adjustment (included slightly out of square up to about 1/4")

Unidoor manufactures a wide variety of glass doors and enclosures. Search and READ, you likely can find one for your application and save hundreds or thousands versus custom glass. Installation is not simple and is a two person job. It is best left to a pro or very handy homeowner. Drilling through tile is a "measure twice" type of activity and there are few satisfactory patches to errors. Instructions are typically very good but there are some designs where the diagrams are not explicit in the orientation. Customer service phone assistance for Unidoor is quite good.

While this is great in appearance, the instructions were miserable. First the screws are cheap and the heads strip out with minimal pressure so had to go get better stainless screws. One screw actually broke off on inside the predrilled hole during installation and we could not extract.

Great Looking and Manufactured Even Better!!!

Refurbished my master bathroom shower and decided to purchase the subject DreamLine model which fit my tiled base to a tee based on them fabricating a number of progressive footprint models to accommodate all sizes. When I picked up my order at the store I was amazed to see how well the pieces where packaged which included a wooden pallet and substantial perimeter cribbing that secured each and every piece in place for shipping. I have ordered a number of household items over the years and most are very poorly packaged for shipping which in turn yields damaged products but DreamLine set the bar for outstanding shipping packaging. Absolutely no damage and not even a dent in any of the packaged containers. Also the instructions that where included were perfect which include very good pictorial sketches that assisted greatly in the overall assembly process.

Excellent product, looks and works great!

I recently purchased this product for a shower remodeling. After the shower was complete and all the tile were set we ordered the door, because we didn't know the exact dimensions until then. We almost needed the next size smaller, and ordering early could have caused a problem.
