This floor finish is the most durable with the aluminum oxide in it; we have a large family with red oak hardwood floors and this is our go to for floor finish. The water-based finish with low odor is easy to apply and dries in 2 hours for recoating.

This is technically a floor finish, but I've used it for everything BUT floors! I've put this on the tops of my bar cart, my indoor balcony railing, some pine used for an accent wall... it goes on great, looks great and is super durable!

Nightmare product

An absolute nightmare of a product. Can’t work with the oil based stain by the same company even after following all their instructions. Don’t waste your time or your money on this.

Worked on my floors

I have done many wood floors and use many different products. This was my favorite so far. I see some people complain about this product and I don't doubt them so perhaps quality control is the problem. I did a stain first let that cure and then four coats of the sealer. It did exactly what the instructions said it would do. Each coat was dry to walk on within 2 hours. I sanded the 3rd coat with 220 on a orbital hand buffer. I vacuumed and applied last coat. Very hard and really nice.

Excellent product I like the waterbase because you can recoat within four hours. The shine is awesome. Looks like a bowling alley.

Decent Finish!

I was installing/refinishing hardwood floors since the early 90’s. The finish we used commercially was $100.00 a gallon and that was 30 years ago! During and since that time I have used this as a coating for myself and customers. This is a decent finish that will take some abuse and I always added some paint thinner for my base coat to create a sealer, otherwise the wood can soak up more finish than necessary. I always screen the floor before the last coat, the floor will be virtually free of burrs and feel like glass!

Used on my staircase after refinishing my stairs and I have many scratches from my pups. I did 6 coats to ensure scratching would NOT happen, it still did. I guess that’s why it’s best to used oil based poly for stairs! I used the water based because I refinished to get rid of the amber hue and hoped this product would protect properly without changing the color of the stain.
