Just as described , great looking installed recessed. magnifying mirror is being used daily and the back wall mirror is very useful.

Both doors are NOT slow close!

I bought this a year ago, asked for new parts and received the parts. Never did the big door on the right slow close! Not worth the $$$

Incomplete look

I like the product, but I am very disappointed in the fact that the wall mounting option does NOT have any edge finishing. Very incomplete look in our newly remodeled bathroom. Not what you'd expect for nearly $600! Had I known that it would be this "unfinished," I would have opted for a different cabinet.

But NOT magnifying mirror!!

I rented a house with one of these medicine cabinets 2 years ago and Loved it, so when I built my own new beach home this year, I insisted on 4 of these! Much to my dismay, the magnifying mirror has been substituted with a standard mirror, which defeats the purpose ofspending an additional $100 each x4 . I re-read the description now, which has been sneakily changed on the website to say that close-up tasks are easier. The "magnification" wording has been removed. Very disappointing Kohler!

Back mirror

I bought two of these for two different renovations, the back mirror is slipping and is not attached to the cabinet at all. The renovations are done and the only way to get to it is to rip everything out and replace it with something better. I open the cabinet an I can see 2x4’s at the top and sides! Very disappointing since I do like the style.

Adjustable mirror is a joke

We had to order these in December 2021 along with the rest of our Kohler items so we would be sure to have them for our remodel which started in June 2022 (which wasn’t enough lead time for everything but that’s another issue). The cabinets were installed in July but the remodel wasn’t finished until mid-August. Starting with the 3rd time I used the magnifying mirror, it wouldn’t stay up in place. It would just slide down the track. I could still use it but I would have to hold onto it or it would just slide down and actually knock off the plastic piece at the bottom and fall out onto the vanity. I needed to use it this morning but I also needed my other hand so I let go of it hoping it would stay in place. Naturally I was disappointed but this time, when the mirror hit the vanity, it broke. Sorry, but a mirror that won’t stay in place is worthless. Now that it is broken, I’ll just put my own mirror fix in place. If I could go back and do it again, I wouldn’t pay the extra for the adjustable mirror. In fact, I probably wouldn’t pay the inflated cost of Kohler. I could have gotten something just as nice but without the worthless add-on for a lot less money Less

Very nice but ….

We put this in a little used guest bathroom 3 years ago and last week, in the middle of the night when everyone was asleep, the little flip out mirror fell to the floor. Turns out it was help up by two-sided tape. So much for Kohler quality.

Rear/back Mirror headache!

I bought 2 of these units via my contractor in December of 2017. Here it is a few years later, January of 2023. One is fine. One is not.The back side mirror has come off in the wall. Apparently I've read and what I see is that it is only attached by double stick tape, and that is only 1/4" wide and has separated on the left side, leaving a gap. Another reviewer said they were told to use construction adhesive the reattach the mirror! That means removing it, and then not smearing any adhesive, or letting the squeeze out show inside. Likely an impossible task. It's the weekend, but I plan on calling Kohler, see if it does any good... Pretty sad to see this failure...

LOVE ALL THE STORAGE

This medicine cabinet holds everything from the old one, plus counter top, plus my make up drawer and I still have available room!I suggest the dimmer switch for the lighting, very bright.If surface mounting (not recessed) do not forget to order the side panels from the "items required for install" link

King Kohler Cabinet

Clearly this is the KING of medicine cabinets. We love the simplicity and style. Mirrors on the outside, inside and even an adjustable magnifier built into the door; just perfect! Priced higher than what you could get at a big box store, it is well worth the investment. Ours is built-in and we wanted quality since this is a long-term solution.

High End & Gorgeous!!

This is a beautiful medicine cabinet. The adjustable shelves are an added plus. It’s everything I hoped for. I bought the mirrored sides and ended up not needing them. Not sure if I can return them but I will be finding out. If you’re looking for an upscale medicine cabinet this fits the bill.

I love our medicine cabinets

I love my new medicine cabinets. They were exactly what I wanted. I love the inside mirrored doors and the little magnifier that slides up and down. They are very well-constructed and a breeze to install. The adjustable shelves help everything fit perfectly. They are worth every penny.

Wrong size Rough opening (if installing recessed)

I installed 3 different sizes of this med cabinet. The rough opening they require is smaller Beware, the rough opening they spec, is 3/8" smaller than the actual unit size. I had to modify all 3 openings after frame/drywall/paint. Luckily I am a contractor with tools/skills and had to make all openings larger. The units varied from 0 - 3/8 larger and not equal on the same sides from top to bottom or left to right. If you make your rough openign 1/2" larger than what they spec, you should be fine. Once installed, the cabinets work well and look nice. A huge pain to correct though!

Very nice mirror....but a couple of things to note.

Super nice mirror! Truly is beautiful (we did the recessed option with no frame). However, the "cut-in" spec for the mirror is off. My husband built the box to spec only to find during installation (post drywall, of course) that the dimensions they stated as cut-in are actually finished specs. To recess the mirror, it was like an 1/8 inch off or something stupidly small but nonetheless, then required some deconstruction. (Grrrrrr)Otherwise, pretty flawless and truly very pretty. One last thing to note-- the mirror is NOT a magnifying mirror as stated on this website. It is a flat mirror and is stated as such on the Kohler website. Overall--still a beautiful purchase at a great price.

Large and beautiful medicine cabinet

I love this medicine cabinet! It's large and makes a statement in the room. It also has tons of room for storage and three adjustable height glass shelves. I mounted this cabinet in the wall, so I don't have to worry about the aluminum sides. I would repurchase this.

Stylish medicine cabinet, looks great on the wall. I purchased 2 for our Master Bath update, easy to install so they opened opposite each other, soft close doors are terrific. I wish the small mirror had magnification, but it still gives a close look. I recommend this medicine cabinet if you’re doing an upgrade, nice deep shelves make it very useful.

Lovely, commodious medicine cabinet

Actual dimensions are slightly smaller than described: may have to fur out wall opening to properly install.Otherwise, it’s a beautiful, practical cabinet. Enough shelves; it’s set up to have door swing open from whichever side you choose (have to decide before installing); and having the mirrored interior looks more elegant as well as adding extra light and visibility to the contents. Also has an edge “grip”, making it easy to open. Self-closing, too.

Cadillac of medicine cabinets! Fits between studs!

We put this into our renovated bathroom earlier a year ago. It fits cleanly between the studs and only required a mounting shelf between the studs. The door has a slow close mechanism and holds a lot! There is a recessed lip along the edge so it's easy to open the door without getting fingerprints on the glass. We couldn't be happier. I wish I'd put one in our other bathroom. You won't be disappointed.

Totally In Love With This Medicine Cabinet

We bought this medicine cabinet sight unseen, as there were no samples in our local store. WOW... we absolutely love it even more than we thought we would. Huge bonus of the mirrors on the inside of the doors and the back wall of the cabinet. It's roomy, it's awesome and the offset center doors give it the modern look we were going for in our remodeled bathroom. When we opened the original packing, one of the mirrored doors had a crack in the bottom corner. Called Kohler Customer Service and they were awesome. Within 15 minutes we had a new door being shipped to replace, which we received in less than a week. The door was very easy to replace and the new door was perfect. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this cabinet. Nice sturdy cabinet, but.....

This cabinet is 24" across and has an inside magnifying mirror. The cabinet is very sturdy, but the door is so large you almost have to step back to open it fully, it protrudes out more than a normal counter top! The extra cost for the mirror is high for a plastic framed mirror and if you have light fixtures on each side of the mirror, which is highly recommended to get a flattering light on your face, the open door blocks the light from one of the side lights, which hinders the purpose of the mirror, which is to see those small stray eyebrow hairs.I end up going back to my hand mirror!! So, if you have a light directly over the cabinet, you may find the included mirror helpful, but I did not. I also wish that I had purchased the 2 door cabinet without the included mirror. Less
