190 Pint Dehumidifier

I purchased this dehumidifier for my 1200 sqft shop. It's insulated but unheated/cooled and it has done a great job removing the humidity and increasing comfort.

Great product at a great price

I've burned up two home dehumidifiers in a wet area of our church. We recently had mold remediation done and I didn't want the space to retain moisture. We purchased this unit and hooked the discharge hose to a condensate pump to remove the humidity. It took four days of continuous running to get the humidity below 50%, but it worked like a charm. It has a lot of nice features like a detachable control panel for remote mounting and optional ceiling mounts. It worked so well, I purchased a second one for my home as other units I've used only last a year or two before breaking down.

Crawl Space is at proper humidty level now!

I have an encapsulated crawl space (this is the modern way that has scientific tests to validate it). The old way was to vent and I enclosed mine some years ago. I used two household dehumidifiers and they worked to a degree but were problamatic. I order this unit (big one) for over 2000 sq ft of crawl space. My house has three main sections that are under one crawl space. The before photo in an area covered with duct work (so the air flow is not as good as other spots) was high. After 24 hours in was down to 58% and probably will drop over the next day or two. The outside temp and humidty photos are with the sensor in the crawl space near a hard to reach area with restricted air flow due to HVAC ducts. The unit is well built and the only problem is the air filter did not cover all the holes so I added some double stick tape to cover a row of holes and also hold the filter in place.

I bought 3 of these and put them in my indoor pool. It kept my room dry while the big unit on roof was being repaired they ran 3 weeks straight. The pool water is at 82 degrees and the spa 100 degrees and the room was average 60 degrees. Which will create tons of humidity. Awesome little units.
