We ordered 3 and ended up with 1

Highly rated and low water consumption. Arrived damaged and in need of repair...But we suspect that this may be the fault of poor packaging for shipping not a design flaw or quality control issue. The packaging box has arrows to indicate which side should be facing "UP" for shipping. In spite of this it was then laid onto its side in a well padded outer box. Ultimately 2 of them arrived with damage that seems to be related to not being shipped in the proper orientation. One of them never arrived at all. We accepted the least damaged one just to finally complete the project. Kohler is currently shipping the replacement parts to make the toilet new. Good on them, we appreciate their no-hassle willingness to address the issue to our satisfaction. Unfortunately, we are not being paid to do the repair labor required because of poor shipping packing (again, not the fault of the box Kohler wrapped the product in).

I wish it has dual flush 1.6-1.28 gallon options. But it is a good toilet. I specifically wanted black. With a less common rough in size of 14”. I could not find a lot of options. There is a Toto one-piece toilet that met the requirements. And I am sure it’s nice. But it is 1500. I don’t want to spend that much on a toilet. And honestly, I prefer a two-piece anyway. So this is what I could find. And if course Kohler is a good brand. Still, I nocked off one star since it is not dual flush. Also note that it’s really pretty much a 12” rough in toilet, but with an oversized lid making it look closer to the wall. The Toto unit is probably a true 14”. But this will do.

It Works

We purchased three of these. It is surprising how much better these work at 1.28 gallons per flush when compared our various old 3+ gallon toilets. One of the canisters did not work fully. We had to hold the handle to get that unit to flush. KOHLER had us free replacement parts in a few days.

Packaging was not great, first one arrived shattered into many pieces. Customer service was good and it was quickly replaced. The toilet itself is excellent!

Perfect fit for our small bathroom. Handles our family's loads very well and is saving us on oour overall water bill. Couldn't be happier with our purchase.

I just can't seem to level and plumb the back. I know my floor if absolutely level-level.

The toilet is great but the toilet seat broke in the first day, The hinges that hold the seat to the toilet came out of the seat and I had to super glue it back on as the screws that go into the wood would not hold

Quick flushing and low water use a plus

It’s a toilet, it works fine, went in easily. I do have to ding them for not including bolts nor a wax ring. For as much money as it costs… Koehler could toss those in… the $80 competitor does. Only problem was that competitor is an 12” rough in.

There was no toilet bowl seat included with my order. Plumber installed and will now charge me to come back once I buy the seat.from photo online it looks like it should’ve been included. Very disappointed. Calling Kohler as well

Outstanding toilet

Best toilet I’ve had so far! Flushes fast and complete. Tank fills somewhat fast and quiet! No complaints so far. Elegant appearance ! Very fair priced for quality!

Ivory Toilet

The toilet is good quality. The color that was ordered was white, the color that was received was a totally different story. So unfortunately, we had to return it because it came in an ivory color.

Don’t expect to have more leg room with this toilet....

Don’t expect to have more leg room with this toilet. It is 2” longer than a 12” rough toilet, so you actually lose space. It sits out farther than a 12” rough Wellworth. I would recommend going with the cheaper option and living with the gap, or spend the extra money for a Toto with the unifit adapter.

The replacement of our 100year Kohler toilet to this Kohler Wellworth 14" center was the best choice for our WC toilet room.

Very disappointed that non of the hardware comes included in a toilet that costs twice as much as a regular Kohler, not even the seat cover which I had to buy for an additional $30 !!!

Kohler

It's nice looking, But you have to buy everything separate, no toilet seat or Johnny ring. Also the tank is the standard size so if you're trying to get closer to the wall, just something else you have to think about.

Dimensional proportions and overall size

I’m dissatisfied with the proportions and overall size of this 14 inch rough in toilet which did not meet my expectations for Kohler design aesthetics. I wish that I would have better understood the significance of combining a certain tank with a 12 inch rough in bowl to make it a “14” rough in”. I’d explain more but I’m out of space. My existing 14” toilet aesthetics and size are fine but guzzles water. Does Kohler have any other 14” options, will a return be accepted by HD with an open box?

Works Great!

I bought this toilet in the last two months. It was installed in a small bathroom. It fits my criteria of a 14-inch rough-in and round bowl as I felt the elongated bowl would look too large for the bathroom. It looks great. My hesitation was with the 1.28 GPF but I was pleasantly surprised at its excellent flushing ability. I wish I had had the option of comfort height.
