8000 btu does even keep up with a 5000 btu since day one doesn't cool like it should.

this is the second one i owned and both only lasted one summer. stopped cooling.

Quiet and efficient

This is a great AC Unit; in my back sunroom runs efficiently on Auto and is really quiet.

This AC fit great in the window and was not as loud as most. I put tis one in my bedroom because I don't have central air. You don't have to clean filter that much. I think you would love this for your house.

Missing parts

The unit works great although was missing parts in the vents and remote does not work no need for it anyways keeps room cool as long as it does the job I am happy hubby was not but he didn't pay for it so my call 😊

Noisy AC

This AC unit works great but it is very loud even on low. The LED lights on the panel are very dim and hard to see. But it does cool the room quickly.

Nice little unit

Had to replace a window unit during a recent hot/humid period. The one we were using was not effective and I suspected it was too small. The bedroom is on a top floor, right under the peak of the roof, slanted ceilings on two sides - south and west facing windows. The 8000 btu unit does a great job with the humidity, it's quiet and smaller than I expected. Happy with product - Lowe's shipped right to my door; it was recieved within 7-days.

I love how fast it cools my room. I live in a boarding room style apartment with my uncle and his wife, the three of us share a room and this air conditioner cools it down within minutes, I have it set at its lowest temp of 61 degrees, sometimes it gets too cool to the point I have it shut off for a bit

bad docs

Easy setup and use. But documentation is sparse, the buttons are hard to read with grey on white, but the Eco function doesn't seem to work. So I run it with the Eco off and its great.

It came without the lower mounting brackets, I have been going back in forth with lowes hardware and whirlpool, each blames the other. I'm basically stuck in the middle between these two. I will try to spend my money elsewhere.

You can go as low as 60 degree F!

I like everything about this product, except that the Econ mode automatically is enabled every time I power the unit on. Don't worry though - you can turn it off easily.

I would buy this again

Works great in my bedroom.
