We need to RETURN these Timers. All of them. They stink like they have been through a lightning strike or power surge.

Product was ordered as replacement for older units that are beginning to give some problems. The new units appear to be the same software as the old units and will be programmed the same way. Good product for the intended use. Programming can be challenging until you learn the logic of doing so, but it is worth climbing the learning curve to enjoy years of service from this product. Recommend setting the date two-days beyond the current date to get better performance through the time change twice a year. If you are programming the units on the 10th of the month, set the date for the 12th and they will make the time change transparent. This is my second ordering of these units so I must be satisfied with them, good performers and rugged, my first units must be 15 years old and one of the units had a battery failure, the others are still in service with the new units on the shelf ready for programming and placing into service as the old units eventually fail.

Great product for the money. Have spent a lot more on other timers that were not nearly as good. Works great and backup battery is awesome. Last for days unplugged. Will definitely be buying more at this price. Recommend to anyone needing a quality timer for a great price.

Disappointing Manual Operation

IMHO this is a design flaw. The Mode switch functions as the manual on/off switch. If you turn it on manually, and want to go back to the normal Auto Off mode, you have to get down on you hands and knees to read the display, and press the Mode button until the display shows Auto Off, because it goes through all the modes, including Random and Auto On before you get it back in Auto Off mode.

Simple and reliable digital timer

Fairly straightforward to use and program. Little cumbersome if you make a mistake and have to scroll back through everything, but otherwise not a bad little digital timer with multiple functions.

Although I rated this timer with five stars I ended up returning it since programming it would have taken much more time and effort than my application warranted. I exchanged it for a much simpler “tab” unit that still matched my needs.
