Is the fan quiet . Not exactly . I believe the noise rating is not accurate . That being said it is not annoying and the light is great. Installation as a retrofit could not have been easier .

Does not perform at 110-CFM. Grates on the vent are too narrow to pull enough air to the outside. I had to electrical tape clips in place then I was able to get clips to go in with ease to the inside bracket system. Still hung lower on one side. Loctite'd that to ceiling. So not really worth the effort. Oh and Led light glows after it has been shut off. Disappointed.

Never got to use it from Home depot due that it did not come in time. When i place order it said it was coming a certain day but it didn't come. It was in stock but came to late. So end it getting from some place else. Very disappointed.

Great fan that is easy to install

This is a great fan! I’ve bought and installed 3 of them over the years in different houses and different situations. Can typically be done in roughly an hour. Installation instructions are very clear and highly recommend this product to anyone for retrofit situations.

Powerful bathroom exhaust fan.

Powerful but very quiet. The color of the built in LED is 3000K, so the light is quite yellow. Not a deal breaker, but would prefer a whiter light output.

Not recommended for retrofit installs

HORRIBLE RETROFIT INSTALL! Attaches to joist only on 1 side so other side sags. Have to pull house duct inside box to attach. Hole in exhaust fan box is same size as 4-inch duct - difficult to pull through, attach & push back out. Metal retainers that hold up coverplate not bent at correct angle! Got it connected by taking metal wires off cover & bending it correctly ourselves. Took us 4 hours to install. As comparison, we installed Revent brand in another bathroom & that took 30 minutes.

Manual

Manual more confusing than help to install this fan, because “some models”, “some models” what is the problem to put exactly manual for exactly this fan. Also, there is two green wire comes out from the fan, I have no idea what to do, and they doesn’t say anything about it. Very poor clips on cover…

Grill installation is terrible!

After installing the unit, testing the light and fan, which worked perfectly. I went to install the grill which should be the easiest thing to do. Whoever designed this should be fired. I have almost spent more time trying to get the grill on as it took me to install the unit! Broan should design a retro fit to fix this disaster! At this time the unit has no grill but it works great.
