Amba towel warmer

Towel bar is built solid,make sure you have rough-in shop drawings so you definitely have solid backing in wall and lower outlet placed in right location,as the outlet center will determine where unit and mounting points are so you need to layout unit ahead of time.2 x 6 backing preferredheats to just about the right temp,you can barely hold your hand on it,that way you won't burn yourself accidentally by leaning into it.Good Product.I had K Straight Amba towel warmer.

Went bad in less then 2 years

Installed fine with no problems. Programming is not very intuitive, but if you keep the instructions around, no problem. My beef is that in less than 2 years, the display stopped working. This is an expensive timer, so for the price I'm very disappointed and expected more.

Great Decision

Our decision to buy this towel warmer was way past due. Our bathroom was always cool and damp. Not anymore. Looks and feels well built. Wall timer is very nice and was another smart purchase.

DEFECTIVE - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY VINTAGE

Purchased this product thru VINTAGE TUB & BATH it never worked. Vintage had me call Honeywell, Honeywell say to call Vintage Tub and Bath. Vintage Tub & Bath will not take care of this unit. I PURCHASED THIS UNIT AT VINTAGE TUB & BATH - IT NEVER WORKED. THEY SHOULD REPLACE IT. It is used with the towel warmer I purchased thru them..... THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS! DO NOT - I REPEAT - DO NOT PURCHASE ANY PRODUCTS FROM VINTAGE TUB AND BATH. THEY WILL NOT STAND BY THEIR WARRANTY. THEY ARE UNETHICAL. THIS PRODUCT WAS NEVER USED - IT NEVER WORKED. ALL I WANT IS A REPLACEMENT TIMER. NOW I AM TOLD I CANNOT RETURN THIS BECAUSE IT CAN ONLY BE SOLD TO A PROFESSIONAL ELECTRICIAN. MY ELECTRICIAN INSTALLED THIS UNIT AND SAID IT IS DEFECTIVE. TERRIBLE - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

A must for a towel warmer

The 7 day timer works perfectly for a towel warmer. A towel warmer only needs to be on for a short time each day and this timer automates that. Very glad we decided to install it plus it will provide savings in the long run.

Works great, but hard to read

We like our towel warmer and Aube programmer so much that we've now ordered a second of each! The programmer works great, but be prepared to keep the programming instructions in the bathroom vanity or else equip yourself with a magnifying glass! But simple off/on doesn't require reading anything, and programming only requires reading once, so it's not such a big deal.
