PERFECT. Uncomplicated. I have an oil furnace only used in the coldest weather, mostly rely on an efficient heat pump and an Eden whatever infrared. (and upgraded insulation as well as passive solar.) Easy to install and easy to use and looks JUST FINE. Old thermostats look terrible! Really date your house and erode confidence in updatings.

I was told the two wire control would work on my wall heater. My heater has 4 wires, they were not compatible. I took the breaker back and was refunded without complications

Overall a good mechanical thermostat. It's easy to install and so far works perfectly. The reason for only 4 stars is I wish the bottom screw was slightly lower so your screwdriver doesn't rub against the dial, which can make the screw hard to install and also rub a dent in the plastic dial. I also wish there was a screw to allow calibration of the temperature! It seems like mechanical thermostats no longer have this option and having to fully replace the thermostat when it starts to loose calibration is absurd.

We replaced all of are old thermostats due to one of are old one dying and leaving our base board heaters running full blast in a room we do not use everyday. My husband said they were not hard to replace. Just be sure to read the instructions online and get the required connectors before you start. It also helps to have a long thin philips head screw driver for the bottom screw.

After days of searching for a 120v thermostat I finally found the Cadet Single -pole device. It works as expected and I am satisfied with it.

Works well, easy to install, wish it had an integrated thermometer. I have only had it installed a few days, but seems to work well; I'm using it to run a circulator pump in my garage.

This is exactly what I wanted 120/240 Volt line voltage thermostat, no battery to replace, no complicated night set back that has to be changed with daylight savings or power outages. Something that is simple and just will work for a long, long time.
