It’s a no for me

I bought this over a month ago. It is okay but I have two main issues. 1. The pre filters.. Having washable filters seems like a great idea, but every time I remove them to clean them the dust, particles, and everything in them is released back into the air. Both times I cleaned them my allergies were irritated. To me this makes the product useless. And yes I clean them when the machine notifies me too. 2. The app is horrible. I have to sign and reconnect my device too much. This is my fourth air purifier machine I have purchased. I have an enviorklens, Molekule, and an I Q Air. This machine might be my least favorite.

Awesome Purifier

Discounted price was very appealing. Entire process from purchase to setup was exceptional. My 400S works seamlessly and is EXTREMELY quiet. Have enjoyed it for a month now and have noticed improvement in my home. I'm happy with this purchase.

Easy to clean

I bought this for my room with litter boxes. It filters the air well and there is significantly less dust in the room. The odor is generally well controlled for a smaller room. I have two of them for my house and they are worth it! I would wait to buy when they are on sale.

Good Product but never buy the Wi-Fi version.

I bought the Wi-Fi version. That was my mistake for not reading reviews of the App. The Wi-Fi version is an absolute disaster do not buy it. Setup without Wi-Fi the product is fine and likely deserves its reviews and Wirecutter endorsement. I would add it has been seven days since an email to support asking for help or refund and no answer.

Does a good job

I bought this because we have 4 animals, 2 cats and 2 dogs. The carbon filters definitely help with the animal smell. I don’t feel like they help as much as stated in the description but pretty darn well! I ended up buying another one just for the cat room despite the description including that it is good for 3000 sq feet an hour (1800 sq door ranch houae for reference). Still a very worthwhile purchase especially while on sale!

Very quiet and effective

We needed a unit to help control the dust in our country residence. After a lot of research we landed on this model. It’s been in operation now for almost a month and made a huge difference in the amount of dust that accumulates everywhere making our cleaning routines much quicker. Very quiet unless it kicks into high fan mode. We really like the sleep mode which is whisper quiet. Light weight in case you need to move it or clean near it.

Worth the purchase

I have nearly year round seasonal allergies and two dogs. The difference was almost immediately notable. I noticed a difference in smell-no matter how much we clean, sometimes everything smells like ‘dog’- and now, that’s gone. Also, I was taking 2 doses of allergy meds a day, and am down to 1, and in some cases 1 every other day. This has improved the quality of our air so much.

It really works!!!

I have owned the 400 for 3 months now and it is amazing. I am in a 2200 sq ft condo - 1800 ft main and 400 ft open loft area. All areas have “clean” fresh air. I used to go out for fresh air- now I stay in. Huge noticeable difference when coming in from the outdoors. My sinuses love it too.

These covers for my airmega 400 air purifier buttons are a LIFE SAVER! I have a cat that gets an inordinate amount of joy when she jumps on top of them and makes the buttons go 'ding' (goodness help me). I literally breathed a sigh of relief once the covers were on and when my cat inevitably jumped on it, she didn't hit a single button. I SO HAPPY these exist.

Breathe easy and fresh!

Really helped with sneezing and sinuses (lots of pollen and allergens around here). House smells fresh even with 2 dogs and fried bacon at breakfast. This purifier kicks into high gear and sucks the strongest odors away (I dont know anything stronger than bacon smell). And less dust! Worth every penny.

Excellent product

We just got a model 400S and it couldn’t have been easier to set up and working. After a day our air sensor showed a marked improvement in he air quality. It looks great and the black color allows it to melt into the background. It’s also very quiet and you don’t even notice it’s on and working. Definitely a good buy.

Poor Wifi Function

Bought this product 1 week ago. Air purifier part works fine. Wifi connection / compatibility does not. Called customer support. They mentioned that the product has to be closer to the router and that 5G service will give problems. Neither of these two things are mentioned on the website. Bought this product over the cheaper one for the WiFi enabled functions. Could return product but I am responsible for shipping. Return shipping would be the difference of the other product.

If you suffer from allergies, get this filter!

Purchased a couple of months ago. Like it so much, I'm going to buy a second one to put at the other end of my house. Quite operation, the smart mode does all the work. Love the filter indicators which let you know when it is time to either clean the pre-filter or replace the main filters. Easy to maintenance and operate. Made a huge difference in the air quality of my bedroom. Significantly less allergy symptoms, less dust accumulating on my horizontal surfaces. The difference was easily noticeable.

Very effective and nice looking purifier

This unit is absolutely perfect. It is a very efficient purifier that has help us deal with the heavy pollen season that we have had this spring. It has kept the main floor of our home, approx 2500 square feet absolutely clear. In addition the unit does not interfere with the beautiful furniture in our living room and sitting room area, the unit is non intrusive and in fact is actually quite nice looking. In addition it is extremely quiet.

Just getting it started.

going to start this out with 5 stars because I have only had it running for a couple of weeks. I do like the quietness of this unit, you don't even know it is doing its thing unless you look at the lights. I really liked the setup and scheduling in the app. It was very self explanatory. I'll keep you posted on what I think about it in the coming months, but for now it is a Winner!

Airmega 400 filters fill your house with chemicals

The Filters for this 400 filter sold here and on Amz are bad. Conway you know these filters are bad. They leach stinky chemical smells into your house. AND YOU ARE 100% AWARE OF THIS ISSUE.. This issue Affects us the good customers that make up your profit revenue stream. Most people never notice because they have other pleasant smelling fragrances covering up the stink of the Coway filters. I have 2- blueair 211+ and 1 Bissell air 220 both filters also use carbon. SO its quite easy to smell my Blueair 211+ and my Bissell air 220 and then I smell my Coway and it's disgusting. SHAME ON YOU COWAY FOR TRYING TO SILENCE THIS ISSUE AND HOPE NO ONE NOTICES IT! You sell one of the most expensive air filters that is nothing more then a show piece because it stinks up your house with a chemical smell. The ignorance of you! American people do not appreciate ignorance like you display as a company turning a blind eye to this issue. Take the hit and fix your garbage filters. All the clone filters have the exact same chemical stink.

Great Purifier Lacking Child Lock

The Airmega 400 is a very impressive air purifier thus far. Had to take off a star for the fact that this unit does not have a child lock on it like the Airmega 240 we also bought. Our toddler found the touch buttons to be to much fun so I have moved the unit to another location in the home that he is not in very often. The amount of air this unit moves is impressive and we are happy with it especially at the sale price we got it for.
