Good bin till the lid breaks.
I bought this bin about 1 year ago. For $150+ at the time, I would expect it to last for years and years. Unfortunately it's made with the same low end quality as you might expect from other brands.

Love the look of this trash can. It was a little pricey, but I think it’s worth it. Very impressed with the packaging. Was concerned it would get dinged in shipping, but it was double-boxed plus styrofoam. When I first saw the box, I was afraid I accidentally ordered a much larger trash can. Haha

Good for the first few months…
We bought this can from Costco in 2021. I loved the look of it - until we started to use it. It was easy to stain and difficult to clean deep inside, but I looked past that, gave it some elbow grease, and it was fine. about 3 months ago, the lid started to creak as it was closing and last week, we noticed that the inside lid cracked completely away from the garbage can! Not sure how this even happens! Really disappointed considering the cost of it!

I ordered this trash can directly from Kohler and was pleased that it arrived without the major dents that so many other reviewers have complained about (primarily purchased through distribution). There was just one very tiny dent toward the bottom of the can.
