Exactly what I needed. I received my order within two days.

The attachment detail changed from the original and we thought it wouldn’t fit correctly. After reading the direction better I installed and adjusted it in place. The new design is a definite improvement and it fits well.

We replaced the original toilet seats for the American Standard toilets that came with our condo. Originally we were just going to replace the toilets, they seemed so terrible, but it turns out that it was just the original seats that were bad. Delivery was quick and great improved quality seats. Very happy with this purchase.

The best thing about this seat is that the installation plate is placed over the bolts. It isn’t clamped on and prone to slipping. There is a reason it’s not the cheapest seat. It is very durable.

Poorly Designed Toilet and Seat.

I have three American Standard toilets model # 2891.200. Two of the three have had the lids to the seats break in two. It appears to be a design flaw. The first seat was replaced without charge. I was told it had a lifetime guarantee. Both seats were not abused when they broke. The seat that I received from Build.com was not the same as the one that came with the new toilet. I was told that I needed toilet seat 5218.110. The one I received was Am Standard 5025A.65G. It was different and at first it did not look like it would fit. There were some adaptable parts that ultimately allowed the seat to be installed. I bought this toilet because it looked contemporary. The toilet has a number of bad design features starting with the seat and seat cover. Aside from its tendency to break it is very uncomfortable if you happen to lean against the seat lid. The toilet does not always flush properly. The dual flush buttons are located on top of the tank and are recessed and not easy to use. I regret buying this model. At first I was talking to American Standard to try to get a new seat. They were very unhelpful. Build.com was helpful and promptly sent the new seat. They are a good company to deal with.

This type of toilet seat was difficult to find. The material seems to be easier to keep clean than the original seat that came with the toilet.

Mounting screws won't stay tight.

This seat is comfortable and looks good. But one of the mounting screws loosens every time you lift or lower the lid. I've re tightened it and within just a few uses, it is coming unscrewed again. Very disappointing.

This toilet seat fits and that’s the best I can say about it. The plastic is thin and flimsy compared to the original seat and is not at all worth the ridiculous amount of money I paid for it.

Toilet seat was very pricey but, when we receive it, the quality was excellent. Hope it last for years.
