Cameras and alarm system.

I must admit this company hit a winner again. I've been a true fan and customer with Wyxe since the beginning. I love the camera quality the alarm is amazing. If you have an issue installing the alarm all you need to do is reset it and start over it works. Great job to the Wyze team for keeping it affordable and a great product all around. I have several and they work amazing. Why pay more and you get just as good if not better than the top brands. Thanks again Wyze keep up the great work.

Can’t get it to work!

I already had this equipment but was not successful lately with the synchronization. I have not been able to use the monitoring for months, even though I paid for it through next May, 2025.

Excellent- need clarity on pricing

I like it, I do not like that the paid programs are not clear... You will pay monthly per camera for monitoring services. Not bad pricing. Still the best rate on the market. But I like it when companies are up front and clear with pricing.

Still Learning and Experimenting

The set up is not intuitive, the 30/40 minute set up is not accurate and the usefulness of any set up information on Wyze’s website is minimal. Plus a live person can’t be reached!. You-tube saved the day.

Works fine. Took10 days for delivery. Tried to redeem 6 months monitoring, but Wyze stopped accepting in the second half of 2023 from reviews. Customer service at Wyze starts with text or phone calls, but escalating goes to email, which is slow and it's like starting over when you're contacted.eyze and Home Depot has not corrected the now bogus 6 months free home monitoring on the HD website.

The system is only alerting me when a door or window has been opened which it is doing well, the detection sensor not so good. I noticed the system has gone off line for one reason or another, I will need to look into that further. If I cannot get this to be more reliable I will remove it. This is a system you need to spend time with to get it correct.

Able to get my insurance rebate

Was very easy to install. Notifications on the APP are very helpful to monitor activity when you are not there. We plan on adding more devices and expanding the system. We saved $600.00 with our insurance carrier this year for adding this minimal system.

Meh

Technically and Functionally it works fine. But the built-in limits to using more than one camera with the Home Monitoring service is a bait and switch tactic. In addition to the Home monitoring service, which allows for only one camera you have to pay for each camera or camera bundles which ultimately prices itself out of begin worth it.

Sense hub stopped working within 4 months. Has taken 4+ weeks working with support and I still don’t have a functioning system. Took 7-10 days to receive warranty replacement. Then 2+ weeks already working with support to fully install. Now the home monitoring service doesn’t work and I’ve called supported, chatted and emailed them spending over 30 hours. I was supposed to hear back from Tier 2. Never did and it’s been 7-8 days. Poor customer service and seems like they’ve hired high school kids to support us. Extremely disappointed. Only reason I gave it a second start is because the product worked fine for the first 4 months.

Great product and people

I like it - and I've installed several other DYI security systems.The product is very intuitive and easy to install. All the staff are knowledgeable very quick to respond! - Which is a HUGE plus in my book. I do currently have an issue with the device, but I have a VERY unique situation that 99.9% of the people won't have. So I don't think it's the product, I think it's my env and how I'm trying to use it.

So far so good

Overall, I've been happy with the products. I had another competitor product previously and they are comparable. The quick start guide that came with the package was useless. I had to search for better instructions. The hub did not want to connect to my wifi - took 3 times.

Had to return this to Home Depot today. The product appeared to be just OK, but after dealing with Wyze for almost a month trying to straighten out a separate security subscription refund issue, I just don’t believe this company is interested in serving it’s clients. If Wyze can’t be trusted to process a simple refund in a timely manner for a product bought in good faith, then why would I want to entrust the security of my home and family to such a feckless partner? Either they are unable or unwilling to reimburse my return. So I’m cutting my losses, and taking my business to a vendor who takes their responsibilities in the marketplace seriously.

Great system with one weakness.

The only thing missing is cellular backup to the system, since we had a internet outing and my system was online. Other than that, the system works great.

Home monitoring system

System not working after subscription was renewed, been in contact with her support people not helpful whatsoever dealing with the fella called Sonny he’s not responding anymore. They’re not gonna return my money so I want the system working but nobody seems to want to help terrible system. Terrible people to deal with just terrible. don’t buy this product.

Fantastic product. Easy to set up. Can't wait to expand my system with flood lights.

wyze not honoring Home Depot Free six months monitoring

I am disappointed. Wyze has discontinued with Home Depot six months free monitoring. I am asked to pay. Also, trying to setup the system for the past two days. Yet nothing happened. It seems they prefer direct buy from them. If my system is not activated by tomorrow, I will have return the package. Please reply.

Worth the price.

The Home button on the keypad doesn't work all the time. Once I had to remove and add the device again to get it to work. The Hub goes offline all the time when the internet is working just fine. The entry sensors aren't powerful enough, I have molding around my door and the sensor can't detect the magnet. I had to put cardboard on the door to raise the sensor. My Google Nest sensor worked just fine in comparison.

Price is good, hub could use some upgrades

A decent price for the equipment and 3 months of free monitoring. However, I don't like that the hub isn't backed up by a battery and doesn't have cell capabilities in case the power goes out. If the power goes out the whole system is down and the property is vulnerable.

Wyze does not honor the 6 months of monitoring.

The system is easy to install. The only problem is that Wyze no longer honors the 6 months of monitoring that is advertised with the purchase. That was the main reason I decided to purchase this Wyze system.

Bricked after 2 years, no replacement

Purchased this when it first became available. Subscribed to the home monitoring service for 3 years. Bought 21 sensors to go with it. Then the hub bricked and Wyze won't replace it.
