Razor sharp, but...

This is a heavy knife and it feels heavy in my hand. (Maybe good for you; not for me.) It is extremely sharp and I really like the sculptured bolster. It's beautiful, but I'm not a fan of the steeply curved front end of the blade. For me, it made chopping vegetables and herbs awkward.

Beautifully Made

Truth be known this is my first professional chopping knife. My husband has been telling me to buy one for years but I just never splurged on one. With Thanksgiving coming up, I thought I’d buy one in order to spatchcock the turkey. Tried it out today on boneless chicken breasts & WOW what a difference. I’ve been working too hard in the kitchen with my dull knives. The blade fits nicely in my hand & is well balanced. Very happy with this purchase. I just ordered a blade guard today too (didn’t think of it when I ordered the knife). Food prep just became more enjoyable.

Perfect for home cooking!

I’m kind of petite, and I’ve been looking for a low maintenance knife that I don’t have to use much muscle with. This knife is amazing. A little time with a honing rod a few times a week and it’s been the sharpest, easiest to handle knife I’ve ever owned. Would recommend to anyone!

The heavier weight of this handle on the chefs knife is balanced out by the comfort of handle and where your fingers hook under the part of the blade. I really liked that it was sort of a hybrid angled Japanese hook on a German style knife. Makes chopping more comfortable and easier on my fingers!

Fantastic knife!

Zwilling pro 8-inch chef's knife is a fantastic knife! It fits perfectly in my hand and is well balanced. It's very well made and very sharp and the perfect tool for anything that is needed in the kitchen. This is my first zwilling knife and it will definitely not be my last! Would definitely recommend.
