This pan makes me feel like a chef!
These pans help you feel like a real chef! It's so easy to control the heat, get a good sear, or a sauté, or a braise. And they cleans effortlessly after a short soak. The long handle always stays cool and the extra handle makes it easy to pour onto a serving platter. I can't say enough good things about All-Clad pans.
Saucepan and lid review
The saucepan performed well. However, when removing the lid, the handle was hot enough to burn my fingers. I will have to use a pot holder or oven mitt to remove the lid. I was using a Made-In at the same time, and the lid handle was cool, so the next time, I gravitated toward the Made-In saucepan in case I forgot to pick up a pot holder.
Very nice pan!
Very pleased with my purchase so far. I replaced my old, smelly gas stove with an induction range, so I needed cookware to replace my hard anodized Calphalon. So far, they have performed to my expectations. Time will tell, as they will be used daily.
New Favorite Pan
I've been using this pan for 6 months and oh boy is it my favorite. It has high walls and a large surface area for holding anything I want to sauté! Saucy dish? No problem! Plenty of room for liquids and no spills. Need to finish in the oven? It can do that too. The flat bottom allows for great heat distribution so all my dishes are coming out perfectly browned and delicious. I love this pan, and you will too.
Disappointed on delivery and company response
I have always wanted to invest in an All-Clad pan because I enjoy cooking so much. I finally made the decision to purchase and intentionally chose to order from the All Clad site instead of a third party or other questionable source. When my pan arrived I noticed that it did not sit flat on my cooktop, which I thought was odd. After reaching out to customer service they said that the pans were supposed to be like that but should flatten out when heated up during cooking. After cooking a few times with it I noticed that it never flattened out. When I informed the customer service about this they informed me it would require me to ship the pan back for evaluation and that it would take a few weeks. I feel that this is such a failure of a customer service response. I paid for a quality pan and it is obviously defective but I have to take my time and energy (buy a box to ship it in) and then wait weeks to get an update. I threw out my old pans because I thought this was supposed to be my every day pan and I didnt think I would have any issues. This is such a major let down. I would rather be trusted as a new customer, a new pan shipped to me and then the factory do whatever is needed with the defective pan. Someone please help and assure me this is a once off situation and not what I should expect from All Clad.
OK quality - no replacement shipped - constant spam emails
The pans are OK, but the quality is off. There are marks all over the lids where the stainless steel was buffed but left scratch marks all over. I asked for a replacement lid, was told I would get one, but I have never received the replacement lid OR a shipping notification.
Great size to cook 4 of most anything
The 3 quart saute pan is a great addition for daily meal preparation. It will hold 4 large burger patties or 4 pork chops. I usually saute onions and/or mushrooms first and then add meat of choice. It is not too crowded and everything cooks easily. I worried about ease of cleaning but we have used these daily for one month and find them very easy to clean up.
Looks like All-Clad cheaped out
I purchased this pan as a replacement for my original All-Clad stainless steel pan. I damaged that one by keeping it on a hot burner for too long with nothing in it. My fault. It warped (but still works fine)
Safe and American Made! You can't go wrong!
I recently switched my cookware to safer materials and trusted brands. I appreciate that the 3 quart saute pan is American made and is safer than other brands and materials. If you purchase All-Clad, you will never have to buy cookware again! It is built to last! Durable and user friendly. Just follow their care tips! (FYI. I thought mine was ruined with spots and stuck on butter. However, after following the baking soda instructions for the stuck on butter and effortlessly using the vinegar for the spots, it all disappeared and brought it back to it's like-new appearance!)
