[Rewarded Review] Frigidaire Fallery 24-in wall oven

Oven was delivered without defect. It was installed a couple of months after purchase which did not result in any complications from our agreed installation from Best buy. The oven is a replacement for our original 1962 era oven and has a lot of features we needed to get used to. The modern bells and whistles are very nice to have and the oven is performing its cooking duties well. Currently we are using the self-clean feature. However we are having problems getting some caramelized deposits off of the glassdoor interior. I called Frigidaire for some help and the support people were courteous. As of yet I do not have the glass door clean, but with their help I hope to soon have that figured out. Best Buy had competitive pricing and their lead salesman was knowledgeable.

I like the way it looks. Baking in the oven seems to do a good job. It’s so new I haven’t tried all the other features, but am looking forward to experimenting! The only thing that seems awkward is the cooking display. It’s probably because I’m not use to it, but you have to go through steps to set your oven temp.

I’ve only used it a few times. I like the ease of use of the digital display. I knew the oven would be narrow but I failed to take in the depth when I measured. My old oven could fit sheet pans in the depth easily but this one can’t. I can fit them sideways but they touch the sides. I’m still learning the modes. It does create a lot of smoke when I open the door. Food cooks quicker and Convection is really good.

Decent oven but reliability is in quetion

I bought this product about a month ago. I have experienced my first service issue. The heating elements, both bake and broil do not turn on. Power is available. When it worked the oven provided good baking, broiling to include convection baking and roasting. It was cleaned once and did an adequate job. I purchased an extended warranty but unfortunately I have to wait 4 days for a service call. Hopefully, they will not have to order a replacement part. I will update this review after the repair has been completed.

We had a 40 year old oven in our house. We sat without an oven for a few years once it bit the dust. Could not find any replacement parts. We finally decided on this model for the sizing and capabilities. The size gave us additional space to move our microwave into the same cabinet. We are enjoying the simplicity and user friendly control pad. We still haven't used the air fry function. Waiting for the air fryer tray. Although I must admit I am disappointed it did not come with the oven. Looking forward to further experiences with our new oven. Also we have only had it for a month. Time will tell if will last 40 years.... haha.

First time buyer of a wall unit. Chose Frigidaire because of the offered options. Comes with air fryer and steam self cleaning options. This is a great unit. Bakes great, does not radiate heat outside the unit, keeping the kitchen cooler. Does not come with air fryer pan however, found the air fryer pan very inexpensive on Amazon. I love the unit and I am very glad I chose Frigidaire.

Toxic factory coating inside oven?

I purchased this oven from Home Depot and activated the manufacturers warranty immediately due to the toxic smell that poured from it upon turning it on. After a technician was sent a week later, he basically said this was normal and that I would need to run the oven on high heat for about a half hour to an hour at a time at least 3 times until the "factory coating" burned off. There is no mention of this in the owner's manual and I do not see any reviews mentioning other people experiencing the same issue. Running this "burn off" process causes my whole home to smell terrible and causes a burning in my throat that causes me to cough for hours until the smell has left my home. This is the second time I have run the oven and am not sure why I should have to do this. What "coating" is put on these ovens that is causing me such a reaction? Is this appliance safe to cook food in?

BOUGHT ONE LATE AUGUST 2024 a;lrady DEAD

First week the started glitching. Continued giving problems. Called Frigidaire. Service would be more than 10 day wait. Then it completely failed. With no way to cook we called Frigidaria back. Customer service Rep spoke very poor English. I tried to explain, we had no way to cook. The Rep talk over me he could care less. I bought a Frigidaire as I try to buy made in the USA. Have bought Frigidaire since 60's. I was disappointed talking with someone who could barely annunciate English words. Between speaking over me, not listening, telling me what he was not going to do, I ask to speak with someone in the USA that I could understand. His responded hope you don't mind waiting, placed me on hold and then disconnected. So much for made in the USA

Save your money. Nothing but trouble almost from day one. Now I can't even cook on it and I'm waiting weeks for service and eating out at great expense. I had reservations about the reliability becuase of the electronics involved. I should have followed my gut instinct. Piece of useless crap with NON-US CUSTOMER SERVICE. BRING YOU FOREIGN LISTENING EARS IF YOU NEED SUPPOET AND BE PREPARED FOR RUDE PEOPLE WHO REALLY DON'T GIVE A SHI& ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS. BUY AMERICAN?????

Oven won't hold a temperature

Oven temperature fluctuates 50-100 degrees from setting. Everything is either undercooked, or burnt. 2 different repairmen have been here 4 times. They replaced only two parts, and said that is all they could do. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! The store where it was purchased from said they would not replace it. I'm stuck with a $2000 piece of crap.

What a beautiful oven. The oven capacity is large for being a 24" oven. It has so many wonderful features and they all WORK! I absolutely love this oven, the best I've ever had and believe me I've had a lot of ovens. I show it off to everyone and let them know how great it works. [Rewarded Review] Great 24" Electric wall oven

After 30 years our will oven died. We did our research and found this Frigidare Gallery. It matched our Stainless steel appliances with no finger print feature. I arrived right on time and we installed it. We are in our 70's and we installed it with just a few opening modifications. It looks great in our kitchen. Fit real nice.

We love our new Oven. The fact that we can air fry and bake and convection cook is awesome. I have never had an oven that also self cleansing. So Happy!!
