Don't Get Extended Warranty with Comerco!

I bought this washer in 2019 and purchased the 4 year extended warranty.

Nice and quiet dishwasher

I bought this LG dishwasher a month ago. The staff at HD was very nice and helpful. The delivery company sent me an email saying that they would arrive in 30 minutes but actually they showed up in less than 7 minutes so I didn't have enough time to cover and protect my hardwood floor and wool carpet. Lucky enough, no damage occurred.

Quite Satisfied

I’ve had this machine now for six weeks. It’s had multiple uses so I can fairly review it now.

The best dishwasher we've ever had

We have had a previous dishwashers (GE) and two of them was considered a top line, a " Cafe" and a "Profile".

[Rewarded Review] DO NOT BUY - PLEASE READ

Just Google “AE Error Code” and you’ll understand why you should NEVER purchase an LG dishwasher. They have a featute intended to protect your fllor from getting flooded that uses a float sensor thats triggered by a leak, but it gets triggered no matter what, and your dishwasher wont run. You have to call a technician out. Our technician has been out a total of FIVE TIMES. Last time he said it was a plumbing problem. Idiot. So we called a plumber out who said there was zero wrong with our plumbing. Thet cost $125. And now we’ve had to schedule through Sears for repairs bc the LG technicians are incompetent. Go ahead and trust the reviews of people who cant wait to say how good something is. Or you can listen to me and save yourself a whole lot of aggravation. DO NOT BUY AN LG DISHWASHER. DO NOT BUY AN LG DISHWASHER. DO NOT BUY AN LG DISHWASHER. DO NOT BUY AN LG DISHWASHER.

LG Stainless steel front dishwasher

top push buttons, all over sprayers, steel tub, 3rd rack that is removable when not needed, absolutely amazing when you need to get dishes cleaned in an hr with the turbo cycle, or a no rush cycle, or several ones in between, or whatever else you can think of when you are about to entertain. Sprayers in the door for your yucky utensils that never seem to get clean before. I love this Dishwasher. Very easy to install yourself, even for the not so handy person. It is a hardwired one that is easily connected to the old wiring with a simple connector, and the water tubes follow the old ones. Just make sure all of the water valves are turned off under the sink before you disconnect the old dishwasher, and make sure you turn all of them back on , and switch everything back on, before you fuss about the appliance not working. Also, this one is oh so much quieter than many of the other ones I have been around in the past years. The cardboard box is a great toy for your kids to play in, or for your pets, aka cats... The sprayers really hit the spot, and the hot water does a great job with the glasses. My really expensive coffee ware, made of pasta sauce jars are finally no longer stuck with the labels or cloudy. I might actually finally venture to have company after all. Naw, I need more jars.

Do not buy LG dishwasher's

Bought ~3.5 years ago. Yesterday started a load and went for a walk with my dog. When I came back notice an electrical fire smell. Found the dishwasher blinking red and error code "LE" (motor is messed up). And seen the connection to the motor burnt. Thought that we had 10 year warranty on the motor little to know that you need to get the assessor in and then they need to order the part(free) but none of the labour is free. Decided to just scrap the idea and get a Bosch dishwasher. I didnt want to get this one all fixed just for it to (possibly) start another fire and this time start the house on fire. Never buying another LG product again

Horrible don’t buy if you want your dishes to dry.

We bought this dishwasher blindly, meaning we were not informed about the dishwasher properly or the Lowe’s return policy. Let’s start w/ the dishwasher we had no idea about it being hybrid just quadwash w/ 3 racks that’s what appealed to us and he 3rd rack. Operating the dishwasher seemed to be a breeze but, once finished says end on on the screen I open it to find dishes are soak & wet it didn’t dry any dishes plates silverware wet water dripping from the racks completely soaked. I tried several times with the he sam outcome. Go back to Lowe’s to return & cans because we didnt put it on a Lowe’s card so there is a 48 hr window only without a Lowe’s card wasn’t told any of this by the Lowe’s associates there were 2. The delivery date didnt happened as scheduled but came 2 days later than original delivery date. How are we to use 48 hr. Window to return. Sales associates are not knowledgeable on products did not know it wouldn’t dry dishes by it being a hybrid + I have too use rinse aid for every wash cycle was not informed of any of that. LG customer service has yet to b determined so far not gods at all. They get will not replace or refund a unsatisfied customer unless proven it’s a mechanical problem & I can be charged for repair visits if not mechanical. I tried to replace a 25 year old GE dishwasher wish I would’ve kept it, all because of wanting to remodel my kitchen now truly regret it. Just want a refund paid almost $800., for it not too work.

[Rewarded Review] 1 year in, super solid dishwasher!

Now that we hit the 1 year mark, I can say this is a solid dishwasher that has given us 0 issues so far. I am big on researching products before I make a purchase, especially for appliances you use on a daily basis. This one had steller reviews and a great warranty. The only reason its not a perfect 5 stars is because the digital numbers of the time left of a wash are not legible. You can somewhat see them on top / under the counter. However, the led numbers are blurred together. We like the option of raising the middle rack if we have bigger pots, and the silverware on top is a nice touch to make room for more pots and pans on the bottom rack. It's pretty quiet and has a nice jingle when it's done. It dries better than any dishwasher I have ever used. Love the look to it too.

[Rewarded Review] I got a lemon and LG doesn't care

So, let me preface this by saying that almost every single appliance in my home is LG. This is my second LG dishwasher purchase (the first was used in my ADU). I liked the first one the I bought so much that I discarded an old Bosch dishwasher that I had in my main house for this one because 1) it matched all my other appliances and 2) the performance and quality of the first LG dishwasher that I had bought about a year before this one was great!

Nightmare doesn't cover it.

Where do I start? This isn’t a review of the dishwasher itself, but the horrific journey over the last 7 weeks. I think Lowe’s needs to substantially improve its customer service, installation teams, and diagnostic repair people. I initially purchased this LG Dishwasher on Sept. 29th. It was installed a week later. So far, so good. But then it stopped working, the code was for “Not draining properly”. I followed the troubleshooting guide in the manual. It did not help. So, I called LG to find out what the next step would be. They felt it was an installation problem and suggested I contact Lowe’s, which I did. The service repair technician came out on Oct. 20th. After some time, he concluded that the pump was not working correctly; it was not pumping the water out. He had me listen to the noise it made and explained that it should be quieter. OK, let’s get a replacement.

Power Issues, Bad Support from LG

I bought this today when the motor on my 10-year old unit finally failed. I took out the old unit, installed this per the instructions, and started the unit on a test cycle. It worked...for about 5 minutes. It then shut itself off and would not power back on. After hours of googling, re-doing the wiring, and trying out different things, I managed to get it to (finally) power back on. I tried running diagnostics on ThinQ--no issues found--and decided to try another test run. After 5-10 minutes of washing, draining, and operating without issue, it once again powered off and thus far I haven't been able to get it to come back on.

Difficult & Expensive to use

Our options were limited because we needed a white appliance and we wanted a quiet dishwasher. The cycles on this model take twice as long as our previous dishwasher and it uses way more electricity, but the worst feature is the rack arrangement. The third rack is useless. No one puts good knives in the dishwasher (we removed it). The bottom rack provides no wide edge spaces for bowls and baking dishes. One side is for flatware and the other side has tongs we had to cut out to make more space. LG seems clueless about what people actually need to put in the dishwasher. If you only use it for plates, glasses and flatware for a party of 12, I guess it is ok.

LG does not stand behind defective product.

Upon the first use, our LG dishwasher gave the dishes- particularly glassware- a strong smell similar to a riverbank with submerged, slimy roots and vegetation. At the beginning, the smell would sometimes not occur until about 20 minutes after the cycle ended, but it would last indefinitely on dishes put into the cupboard. The dishes would hold this odor, even when completely dry, unless we rinsed and dried all the dishes by hand or set them all out on the counter for 3 days to air out.
