My dishes do not come out clean. First I thought it was my dishwasher soap. Then I tried the Rinse Aid on a regurlar basis. No such luck. The glasses and silverware come out with some kind of residue all over the silverware and glasses

Two Significant Uncorrected Dishwasher Problems

Our new Bosch 500 was installed one month ago. 1. The bottom rack very frequently falls off its tracks, mainly when we're pulling it out and always falling to the right side. This is a worse problem when the rack when the bottom rack is loaded. 2. The Auto Air has never opened the door at the end of the drying cycle.

Our last dishwasher was a huge headache. Constantly breaking down, required us to scrub all dishes clean before use, and the final straw was a small plastic part breaking that would cost $250 and take 2 months to arrive. Not wanting to deal with that sort of repair service again, we decided to purchase the Bosch 500 series and we haven't looked back. Simple to set up, even easier to use. The app offers fantastic customization ranging from level of clean to water/heat usage. The visual and audio indicators compliment the sleek front facing design. Cleans incredibly well and has a variety of built in ways to position your dishes to ensure they get hit directly. Cannot reccomend enough!

I have had over the years (and several moves) at least three Bosch dishwashers. I have loved every single one! But this one is unbelievable - very quiet, extremely efficient and so spacious it takes me days to fill it up. Truly terrific!

Quiet but less capacity

I am quite pleased with how quiet my Bosch 500 dishwasher is but disappointed in the overall capacity and cleaning quality.

We bought the Bosch 500 Dishwasher to replace our KitchenAid that had died after after only 4 yrs. We read reviews that rated the Bosch best for not breaking down and efficiency. It runs really quietly and washes well but, without the heating element for drying, the cups come out with water on them.

The power cord is ridiculously short, and there is only one connection point on machine. My power supply is closer to the left side, and with the shorter cord it won't reach. No available longer cord, and DO NOT USE extension cord!! Warranty warning!! So SELL a longer cord!! Anything cheaper than electrician labor will be snapped up! Do you not read reviews? Many comments!!!

We purchased our new Bosch to replace an old (non-Bosch) unit which kept stopping mid-wash. Thought it was cleaning OK until I saw the results of the new Bosch. Dishes are consistently cleaner without doing a hand rinse first. Saves time and water. Unit is very quiet and I love the pop-open door option. the third rack is very useful and leaves more room for larger items on the other drawers. The only additional feature I would like a quick rinse option.

9 Months After Purchase, Many Problems

We purchased this dishwasher in February 2024. It was great in the beginning. I particularly like the top rack for knives. However, the drying function stopped working, and the appliance is constantly in malfunction mode (not a user error issue). We called the manufacturer because the dishwasher is still under warranty and were told they issued a work order to a local repair shop. Unfortunately, that repair shop has not received a work order. We've been through this routine twice and made a third call this morning. Bottom line: a dishwasher shouldn't break down in under a year. I'm disinclined to purchase another Bosche appliance.

I've only had it a short time, but its finish is resistant to fingerprints. It also is quiet and did an incredibly great job cleaning the dishes and silverware.

Quiet, cleans well and has lots of options to choose from - you can even start the dishwasher remotely. That's a bit too much for me, but it runs well and I love the 3rd rack for silverware.

Dishwasher smells like chemicals after wash

Got this new dishwasher, after washing, it smells horrific like chemicals. Smell has not gone away after five washes. Its disgusting. Don't know what to do.
