[Rewarded Review] Works Great Now

After 1 initial hiccup, it runs like a dream. It's very quiet and that is important since our TV room is connected to the kitchen. We hardly know it's on. The many choices give you an array to work with for just the right setting.

I had to replace my old Whirlpool dishwasher and I remembered how much my mother loved her Bosch. I also read a lot of reviews and I saw that this model was highly rated by Good Housekeeping. I couldn't be happier with it. It's quiet and gets the dishes clean, even with my hard water. I am thrilled with this purchase!

Bosch 300 series dishwasher

Other than the wait time once I ordered the appliance, the fuswasher is great. Very quiet. 3 shelves allow for more space. I like the silverware on top. Seems like they are cleaner than when the stand upright with all the other silverware.

Lots of wasted space

The bottom rack tine orientation, and the tines that do lay down sitting directly next to another set that does not fold down, makes no sense to us. We have tried every way imagineable to load this dishwasher efficiently, including the manufacturer's diagram on how to load this machine, and it does not work with our dishes. Whoever designed this has probably little experience, if any, using the variety of kitchenware found in the average house.

We had another Bosch dishwasher, which was very good but this new one is a whole lot quieter. Very nice dishwasher.

I very happy with this dishwasher. It cleans everything well including pots and pans. I don't use the third rack too much but it's a nice option for the few times I have used it.

Glad We Bought It

Love the spacing inside, all our dishes fit nicely. The top, 3rd rack, is great for serveware and small ramekins, a real spacesaver. We're glad we bought it.

Bosch missed a few quality checks on this one

First off, the dishwasher (Bosch 300, white, front control) looks great. The delivery and installation went smoothly. After the installer left, I ran the dishwasher on the 60 minute cycle. SO LOUD!!! I tried running it on the longer cycle. SO LOUD!!! I called the installer to see if he would come back and take it back to the store. He was unable to do so and suggested I contact the store which I did. Lowe's is scheduled to exchange this one with a Bosch 500. Issues with the 300: LOUD, when I got a decibel meter and measured the decibels it is averaging 59-60 decibels, not 48. The RInse Aid dispenser is defective and rinse aid just runs down the door (seems to be an issue with some Boschs). This model does NOT have any fold down tines despite what the online description states. Lowe's so far has been great about working with me on a replacement. Thank you Jonathan!

Cutlery Tray not a fav.

We bought our dishwasher a month ago and we are happy with the quietness and efficiency. Love the quick cycle. Dishes have always come out clean. Con: I would likely not buy one with the 3rd rack again. It was much easier just to toss the cutlery in the cutlery rack at the bottom. The bottom rack no longer fits my large baking sheets and it's likely due to the 3rd rack taking up room.

THe diswasher is quiet and seems to clean well. The major problem I have is the tynes are nearly all at an angle and that makes loading the dishwasher efficiently too difficult. If I were buying another diswasher, I would not buy this model with the angled tynes. I

The utensil tray requires more labor than putting the utensils in a basket but the basket provided is too small for a normal dishwashing load.

What a lemon

Only used the product 3 times and we were trying to figure out what setting to actually get the dishes clean and dry but dishwasher died during cycle. Dishwasher would not turn back on so I tried opening and closing the door. All buttons lit up and I could not turn off lights or restart dishwasher. Then all dishwasher power went off again. Had the dishwasher for less than a week and now have to wait 20 + days for someone to come look at it. Nice one Bosch.

Wash cycles are long due to energy constraints. Dishes do not dry as well as older machines even with extended dry cycle.

Installation by Home Depot was poor washer left not working, I completely reinstalled and got it working. Seems to wash ok but rinse is poor, soap still on dishes you can tell when you add water to a bowl. Now smelling in dry cycle repair person said heater element is malfunctioning all this since purchased two months ago

The dishwasher cleans well and is quiet. The drying isn't perfect, it dries but has some water here and there depending on the dish. I found the the middle wash arm holds a little water when finished. You have to make sure you empty the bottom rack before you pull the upper rack or the water in the wash arm will drip water onto the lower rack dishes. I would prefer to have a digital display that would display the wash time left and a led light that stays lit until you open the door that the wash cycle complete.

Runs well, it's quiet. Only drawback is the drying process because it has no heating element. Need to dry off certain things.

This dishwasher is so quiet I have to listen hard to make sure it has started - I love it! So much more efficient than the old one. I don't have to worry so much about soaking or scraping!
