Lights do not work
Major installation problem
Beware! Although the literature states that the hood works with a 7’ 7 in. ceiling height, it does NOT. If you are using this hood for recycling air, not ducting outside, you need a 7’ 10 in. ceiling height or the vents will be covered. You learn this in the owner’s manual AFTER you purchase it. You need a 24 in. outer duct and GE claims to not make one. Very disappointed to research this and be led astray.

Looks great, is quite and we use the lights a lot.
Commercial grade Range Hood with powerful fan. It is very heavy and will require two people to install. Electrical took some relocating as the entire blower covered the outlet. Used lag bolts to secure it to wall studs. Extracts a lot of air and has plenty of light.

Broke down in the first week
Broke down in the first week and I am stuck with it. Home depot does not replace it after 48h and GE service is terrrible. Still waiting for the technician to come in after 3 weeks of service request
