The fan comes on briefly several times during a regular bake . The manual says that is so that the temperature is even throughout the oven. The problem with doing that is that casseroles, cakes, sweet breads like banana bread are all getting way to dark on top before they are done. To cook them without a covering them, they are almost burned on top before they are cooked all the way through. To compensate for that I have to cover everything thing with foil for about 3/4 of the cooking time and then take the foil off the last 1/4 of the suggested cooking time. I haven't figured out what to do when I bake cookies since it doesn't really work well to cover up the cookie sheet. Most of my cookies have been big failures because of this excessive browning.. I've checked the oven temperature with two thermometers in the oven and the temperature is accurate. This oven replaced a 30 year old oven that baked perfectly. I'm very disappointed with this oven.

Doesn’t work and “warranty” repair is agonizing

Delivery process was easy, communication was excellent and delivery team was efficient and friendly. When our contractor installed the oven, however, the controls work, but the oven doesn’t heat. LG acknowledged we need a warranty repair and scheduled an appointment but no one showed up. Hours on hold to reschedule, then a different story from a new rep, now endless waiting to get “approved” for a new appointment(?!). Contractor says this happens on 1 out of 7 jobs, UGH.

This oven replaces our workhorse Bosch convection oven, and is welcomed upgrade. We now have steam baking and air fry we didn't have before. We also have WIFI connectivity, too.

Temperature control is accurate and the controls are intuitive.

I Have only had this oven for a couple of weeks but it is easy to operate, very quick to heat up, the only issue is the pre heat buzzer witch is hard to hear unless you are close to the oven.

The website shows delivery date as april 10th and i am waiting for the same item which i ordered in Feb. it was supposed to come on april 8th and now its further delayed to may 13th. When contacted customer care regarding the dates on the website, they informed that the dates will change once the order is placed. It is unethical to provide wrong information on website and secure the order. I would strongly recommend against buying this product from bestbuy. The rating is for best buy and not the product

The ability of this to communicate with the entire system is very cool. Can pre-heat the oven on the way home and be ready to cook immediately.

I evidently misunderstood and thought they would be installing this oven when they delivered it. So I haven't yet gotten my oven installed, so can't tell you how it works yet. I have learned a lot about wall oven installation lately though! This one doesn't quite fit in my existing opening, due to a tall flange just behind the top faceplate, that my previous oven didn't have (see pic). I think everything else will be okay. I love the air fryer function, the steam capability, and the knock twice for the light to come on feature. The power cord comes off the middle top of the unit, and is 5ft long to compensate for that. I currently have a 3-cord installation, and the instructions detail 3-cord or 4-cord installation. It's a great looking oven, with some great sounding features. Can't wait to give it a shot, might do a test install in a few days (I think I've got a couple of little brace pieces I'll need to remove first). I'll try to do an update after I have it in.

[Rewarded Review] Does everything!!!!

This oven does everything. Bake, convection, air fry, steam bake, proof and has a temperature probe to monitor the internal temperature of meats for a perfect cook. It comes with mesh tray for air frying. You knock twice in the door to turn on the oven light to check on food without opening the door. It’s WiFi enabled with a smart app that let me know the oven timer was going off while I was outside. In an installation note this is hard wired in-no “plug” so you will need to plan for that. It does not need a water connection there is a refillable tank for steam and clean functions. We haven’t used all its features yet but it bakes evenly and the air fry function works surprisingly well - nice crispy fries. It preheats quickly and it’s just an overall great oven.

[Rewarded Review] Cooking is fun

This LG wall oven is super nice. The stainless steel matches our other appliances which completes the look. My wife prefers the True Convection option wether she uses it or not. When opening the door the bright blue interior gives it the high end look you would expect. The oven comes with two shelves and a wire basket. We opt for a third shelf. The “knock twice” to turn on the interior light is a nice feature and allows you to keep the light off if it’s not important to see what’s going on inside. Installation and wiring is basic with three or four wire connection, but if that’s for you, hire a professional.

[Rewarded Review] Premium look and functionality

This wall oven is everything I expected and more the pictures listed on the product page do not do this oven justice, it is really a very, very nice high-quality oven. One thing I noticed is the quality of the framing, the Stainless Steel is seamless around the controls and around the window. It is this one piece design that really gives the oven a premium look. It was easy to install. It was a little larger than our previous oven so we only had to do minor modifications to get it to fit perfectly. The instructions were clear on wiring to a three wire outlet box. We enjoyed the Wi-Fi connectivity and the abundance of cooking modes and timers. One feature we did not even know of that is very cool would be the knock twice on the glass to turn on or off the oven light. We thought this was just the coolest thing. Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone looking to replace an older wall oven.

[Rewarded Review] Nice Oven

Bought this oven as part of an overall kitchen remodeling. Good value for the quality. I like all the bells and whistles - but I've yet to try all that the oven has going for it.
