Quiet solid construction from known brand

Pros: Even at high speed the sound is pleasant like white noise though this is subjective. Definitely no noticeable “hum” just movement of air with the unit I received and overall is very quiet. Solid construction and materials. Installation was reasonable if you take your time and read the manual carefully. I appreciate the receiver being built into the base rather than a loose item that needs to be secured somewhere between the canopy and electrical box in the ceiling. Strikes a nice balance between traditional fan design and a modern aesthetic. Cons: included 9w bulbs are adequate but wish it could accommodate a higher watt bulb more than 14w. At least the bulbs can be replaced rather than having to discard the entire unit if it had an integrated LED that failed which was a key consideration for me. For accessibility it’d be nice if the remote made a slight sound to confirm button presses in addition to the quick flash of a small blue LED. All in all, pleased with the purchase after a solid week of constant use.

Fan solid - App and Customer support are BAD

The fan hardware was a quick and easy install. The pairing the remote took a couple of tries, but works. Getting the Simpleconnect app to work with the fan is another story. The fan will not connect to the wifi. I contacted customer service and after supplying them with make model and pictures of QR codes on the top of the fan and inside the remote, they said they will contact me by email in a couple of days. The instructions I received on the email were not much help and had to send another email. Still waiting!

Very disappointed

The fan has undergone a redesign using inferior materials (we bought the same fan several years ago/ way better build). To save $0.02 Hunter no longer includes the part that allows you to mount the remote on the wall. Tech help says it’s available online, I can’t find it. The remote arrived with a dead battery, then it refused to pair with the fan. Since the remote won’t pair nor will the Simeconnect app. I’m so disappointed with Hunter Fans. Years ago they were considered the Cadillac of ceiling fans, now they’re more like a Kia.

Light brightness

The fan is quiet and works well, and the remote is easy to use. However, I replaced a ceiling fan for this one and am very disappointed in the lack of light/brightness. I've tried several different bulbs and it doesn't make any difference. I have used the dimmer on the remote and at its brightest, I don't think I could read very well sitting right under it. This is very disappointing for me. If I hadn't had it sitting around for a few months, I would return the fan only because of the dull lighting.

great modern looking fan

Pleased with quality, and has the simple, modern, and clean lines that I wanted! Works well and was easy for electricians to install!

I ordered this due to Hunter always usually being great quality. Hooking the fan up was easy. Screwing the blades in was not. The threads were damaged on the holes for blade screws. They would not go in far AT ALL. After working the screws back and forth, I finally got them to tighten. However, a couple did not tighten flush against the blade. This should have been an easy install, instead it took a couple of hours.

We lost the remote when when had our floors replaced.

This fan is perfect! Altho Im in New England, summers get hot. I have no AC and this fan kept me cool and comfortable.

Avoid if have two switches

You can NOT control the light and fan Independently. Not sure who came up with this terrible design but I would not recommend this one if you have dual switches on your wall. I assumed one would work for light and one for the fan. instead one switch acts as a breaker to the whole unit and the other can operate the light, ONLY if the first swtich is up. super annoying. I originally bought three of these. after realizing how to first one operates, I'm going to take the other two back. Not sure why this wouldn't be specified in the tech specs or something. Its a shame bc the fan looks nice and the light works well.

NOT Independent Switch functionality

I bought of these fans. after installation. Despite there being dual switch instructions in the install guide, this fan cannot function with independent switches to control the fan and light. One switch functions as a “breaker” for the entire fan. If that is not on, then nothing will work. The second switch then only controls the light (which doesn’t work if the first switch is off). Very poor design. I like it other than that. Need to decide if I want to install the other two fans now.

I really love this fan! It provides wonderful air circulation for my bedroom. I love its transitional look as well. The remote is simple to use for both regulating air flow and brightness of the light. I would highly recommend this fan!
