Really nice sturdy riser

This riser is solid. Without attaching it to the wall it is still sturdy enough to free stand. Without threading on the bottom it was easy to cut to size for our space. It did require a bunch of Teflon tape on the joint.

Good looking, badly designed

I hired a professional plumber to install this shower and he had to work on it for three hours, and struggled along the way immensely. He ended up having to use his own coupling part and the part that holds it to the wall snapped and is now precarious. I will have to reach out to customer service for a replacement part as it is broken and hanging on for dear life. Not happy with the functionality of any of my Signature Hardware pieces. Good looking, made out of good quality materials but designed laughably bad. It’s really a disappointment because they are so pretty they should be designed to work properly for their intended function.

original shower system purchase, too short for my shower. Customer service spectacular. Solved issue within minutes and had above piece shipped within three- four days

Heavy sturdy brass.

The rise itself is heavy duty well built. The coupler is thin walled and leaks. Took it apart a few times to try more tape and pipe dope. Neither worked. I was holding the pipe bare handed when I tightened the coupler and it cracked. For the price I am very disappointed.
