Excellent Fan and light

We just installed this in a new house and we already knew ahead of time that install can be a problem, so we had the hood design of the kitchen to allow for removal of the front panel so we can install and do any maintenance on the vent. This is a very powerful vent and the light is great.

Good but noisey

We've had this installed now for about 3 months. It works well and like that it will adjust itself depending on the heat on the stove. But it is a bit loud. We will probably never have it on more than low setting.

Great product. A little louder then I'm use to. Overall happy i purchased it. I also purchased the warranty.

Good power and nice lighting

We have had this fan installed now for one month. I like the varying speeds of the fan and the lighting is good although it would be nice if it too had a few brightness options. The sound on low is tolerable and on high is pretty loud but it is effective and we have a stove that gets cooked on a lot and we needed good ventilation. Installation is fairly easy, two man job to lift it into place but otherwise quite straight forward.

Very, very loud on high but that would be ok if the low setting was quiet. but it is too loud even on low.

easy to install

I bought this just over a month ago, was easy to install, it is a little loud on high but not too bad, didn't really care for the lights that came with the unit. I like the overall finish with it set up in the cupboard.

Excellent product

Powerful enough that all you need to use is the lowest setting with tolerable noise level. Clean and sleek design, installation requires patience, but well worth it.

Very loud fan

It looks good (slim profile) but is very loud. Loud even at the lowest setting. I do not use the highest setting because I am not able to have a conversation with the fan going.

Good quality

Installed our hood fan, loud but because has strong motor. No reason why we need hood fan on for hours anyway. All good.

Not recommended, wouldn't buy again

The first range hood I bought had to be removed and returned to Costco as soon as it was put in because it sounded like a jet engine. The kitchen guys had never heard anything like it. The second one has been working for one year and when I put it on low it starts up with a horrible loud growling engine noise. Not happy at all. I guess I will have to pay to have it removed and return it to Costco a second time and buy another brand. I doubt this review will be paid attention to so I'll have to comment on Costco's web site.

Ancona Insert Built-in Range Hood

The unit has good construction and durable. The on-off switches and the light switch are a bit flimsy. The unit is very load but has a large CFM.

Really noisy/broken

I bought it long before I installed it so the warranty is no longer effective and there is an obvious problem with it. It's like a piece is flying throught the mecanism and it's really noisy.

Great product!

Great product! Love this fan. Fairly easy to install and has amazing function! Does a great job of sucking up all of the steam when boiling big pots and cooking multiple things at a time. Love it, would definitely buy it again. The light is a nice feature as well, really illuminates the cooking space well.

Very well built. easy to install. A little bit loud but it's a 600cfm ! Great product.

Very Loud

We bought this insert hood vent maybe 6 months ago...maybe less...it’s was loud to begin with...but now it is just terrible!! It screeches and squeaks out of this world... I’m ready to tear it out of there!!!
