This is a great buy-very classic and attractive. Several residents asked where I got this knocker. Wayfair "of course"!
It is a beautiful piece, and it’s exactly what was pictured, but we can’t install it because it is missing the template, which is necessary. It’s also missing a “dished washer.” The main problem is, Wayfair can’t tell me who manufactured it; I would go to the web and find a template to download. They can only tell me where they got it, which is a distributor. The one star review is solely because we can’t use the product at all.

Substantial and nice quality.
This is not what I was expecting. They are very small for our large iron front doors. Will have to return. They don’t work at all. Will be fine. If you have a standard door ours are just humongous.

Requires drilling holes through the door and our door is thicker than the screws.

Excellent quality you’d expect from Baldwin. In bronze, it goes beautifully with the door’s other hardware. Be sure to align front and back holes holes when drilling so that bolts are centered when looking at the back of the door.

Smaller than I expected
We purchased this knocker for our historic home in polished silver and it’s gorgeous. It’s got a nice weight and looks very elegant. I wish it was a little larger to make a bigger visual statement from the curb. All in all, it’s beautiful!!
