Finish degraded significantly in 6 months

This light fixture is mounted on a front porch with several feet of porch roof to protect from the direct effects of rain and weather. It was mounted in July 2023 and these pictures were taken in early November 2023. The finish has already begun to degrade noticeably with pitting developing in multiple places. We live in Northern Virginia and this fixture has not yet been through our winter weather.

They were fairly simple to install and to replace the bulbs as well as being a style and brass that looks extremely attractive on the backdrop of brown siding!

Nice light

This light is for wet areas, which we needed. We purchased from this same company’s lights before and liked them very much. It’s stylish and uses standard bulbs…used LED’s.

Love our 4 new outside, carriage lights! Easy install with electrician, screws included, just add new light bulb. We put 2 in front of our house and 2 over back patio. Beautiful finish. Open hole at bottom of unit makes inserting a regular lightbulb a breeze!

Very good product so far (1 month in). Had contractor install it, took an hour or less. Color is darker than the product photo on this listing, but that's a good thing. Got day/night sensor bulbs which go on/off on their own and were very easily installed. The glass is durable (withstood 1 hurricane so far) and doesn't accumulate dust, grime, or insects (as the bottom is open). Good quality product and I would recommend this to others.

I like the lights themselves , but the supplied mounting plate would not align in any configuration. Had to adapt the old hardware to make the mounting work. This is a newer house and very oddly designed plate drawn up more like an art project than one beta tested in the field...Jim Lenertz

I bought three, two for out front and one for the back patio. The lamps look better than the picture shows. It's really that black rubbed look whereas the picture on my screen makes it look brown. And all the glass gives it a high end appearance. I'm very happy with these.

Decent Quality

Fixture appears to be well made. As of this writing they have only been in place for a week, installed in my front door area which is under an overhang, which should prolong the brass finish. Not sure how they would do when exposed to the weather. . . Very easy installation with no assembly required. Just be sure no power is going to the fixture(s) and attach the wiring. Hire an electrician if you are not accostommed to basic wiring. . . I would purchase this fixture again.

I purchased this fixture to replace an old, smaller one. This fixture was the perfect size for the entry way. My only complaint is that one of the panes on the side had a 2" scratch. I chose to keep it instead returning. Well Made - Easy to Install - Delivery was ahead of schedule!

Extremely Happy with Product and LNY!

We ordered Sea Gull lights for the front and rear exterior of our home. The products arrived fast, carefully packaged and in original, mint condition. I did not install fixture but electrician did it in a very short time. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. I searched for just the right light and couldn't have been happier. Easy to clean and easy to change light bulb. It looks really expensive. Love the beveled glass. Prettiest one I've seen. Buy it, you will love it.

Bright!

I bought 2 to replace old existing fixtures, 1 by the front door, the other by the driveway. They were as hoped - well made, attractive. Just didn't care for the generalized installation instructions. They made the instructions so general for various models that it wasn't clear how to mount the fixture. That was the hardest part - trying to figure that out. The wiring part? a snap!
