[Rewarded Review] Well made beautiful piece

Just have installed as a replacement for our door. The product is substantial and works with precision. You can feel the quality. I almost bought a less expensive product and I ame very happy I didn’t. Highly recommend this and other Schlage products I have used in the past.

[Rewarded Review] Solid and secure installation!

I bought this deadbolt when I was searching for something that would be secure and very solid for safety reasons, on my entry door. I installed the lock with a minimal amount of trouble and it look solids and sound. It looks like a “professional” installed it!!! Really happy with the way it turned out!!

[Rewarded Review] Great Deadbolt

I manage 16 apartments. I chose to replace the locking door knobs with passage knobs and these deadbolt locks. No more lock outs and tenants must use their key in the best lock.. the deadbolt. The Schlage cylinders are readily made mastered.

[Rewarded Review] Fit at last

I replaced a 20+ year old Schlage deadbolt with a new one. The only problem I encountered was that the old deadbolt was a smaller diameter and it took a while to file the hole for the new deadbolt. Working very smoothly. I hope this one lasts as long as the last one did.

Old ones were better

Bought these to replace multiple 25+ year old Schlage deadbolts that had wear and tear on the finished. These new ones seem very cheap in comparison; just putting the screws in causes them to dent. Quality seems to be slipping

[Rewarded Review] Excellent replacement deadbolt

My last deadbolt lasted unknown number of years until a small metal piece broke. My wife & I found this Schlage, with good ratings & the right brass finish, at Lowe’s. Installed it in less than 10 minutes. Works perfectly.

[Rewarded Review] 40 year old Schlage lock

I replaced a 40+ year old Schlage lick my dad installed iver 40 years ago. I installed a new one of the same style. I had to change the lock out because something broke inside the key cylinder. The only modification I had to fo was chisel and use a drill bit to make the hole slightly larger for the deadbolt to fit the door properly

[Rewarded Review] Schlage quality lasts decades

Bought this to replace deadbolt from 1989 which is still working but was getting a little sticky. I had to enlarge the hole to 1 inch. I’m using it with a Wyze digital door lock and I needed to use bolts provided by them in order for it to fit because the new bolts are beefier and stick out farther. New lock is smooth like butter

[Rewarded Review] Schlage single cylinder B60N G 505

I've put in many doorknobs and deadbolts. Thiscwas by far the hardest to get lined up to screw together. Bolt mechanism was bigger than old one and I had to widen hole. Bolt did not line up with frame hole and had to ground brass frame edge to get it to fit.

[Rewarded Review] Sturdier than original!

This was bought to replace the original deadbolt that came with the house almost 35 years ago. It appears to be built stronger and have better quality hardware than the Schlage deadbolt it replaced! Unusual for this time when most things appear to be made with lesser quality than the “good old days!”

[Rewarded Review] Great lock and easy installation

I needed a replacement deadbolt for one that was 20 years old. Originally bought another brand to save money. The quality was awful. I returned that one and bought a Schlage. I made the right choice.

[Rewarded Review] My go-to brand for door hardware.

Since purchasing a house a few months ago, I have purchased several Schlage locks and knobs. I’ve been disappointed by the quality of other brands at the hardware store. Everything I’ve purchased with the Schlage brand is a little beefier, a little better built, and they have styles to match our decor.

No Master keys

I got the "Schlage B60 Single Cylinder Keyed Entry Deadbolt in a set" with the keyed alike. Not realizing that I'm not getting the original key. They copies all my keys with a generic schlage. The box should had come with the Schlage keys with the key number on it. I would have gotten it at the store with the same number but they didn't have the color I want. If I had known that they take away my original schlage keys, I wouldn't have bought it here.

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful Finish as Well as Great Quality

Just bought this to replace our old Schlage deadbolt which was 30 years old since my son-in-law broke off a key in it. It is so easy to install. I trust the brand name of Schlage and use that in all fixtures on my jobs as well as home because it's dependable and if great quality

[Rewarded Review] Great deadbolt but could have included a hole temp

Installed this on a door without a hole. Figuring out exactly where to drill the holes in the door is was a challenge. I had to create the template off another door so the holes would be in the right place. Once that was done, the deadbolt installed easily. It looks great. But it would have been nice if the instructions came with the template

[Rewarded Review] Quality deadbolt with ease of installation!

I purchased this deadbolt to replace a 20+ year old Schlage deadbolt that originally came with the home. Installation was a breeze; any home owner or landlord can install this in under 10 minutes with simple hand tools and a drill. I bought this product in particular for the reputation Schlage has for added security and solid feel to the unit. The lock/unlock action is tight and smooth and gives added reassurance. The price was a bit higher than other units at the store, however, I feel that I will get many more years of headache-free use from this product and feel it was well worth the marginally higher price.

[Rewarded Review] Simple. Solid. Easy.

I replaced an old Kwikset deadbolt with a Schlage and it was an upgrade well worth the price difference. The Schlage deadbolt feels solid and well-made, installed easily and quickly, works well and looks great. I especially appreciate the plastic-free, totally recyclable packaging. More manufacturers should follow your example. Thanks.

[Rewarded Review] Not what Schlage used to be

Replacing the 20 year old Schlage dead bolt that had a broken piece inside. This new unit , when compared to the 20 year old Schlage, is cheap and flimsy. Does not feel as sturdy or strong. It appears to be the same quality as the Quikset units. Both are now made in Mexico, so probably very similar. Except in price.
