Great surface and quality

The surface texture is smooth to the touch, and very beautiful while the porous material assures footing. Very heavy vs flimsy. I now have two and love them!

Awful customer service

We ordered this shower base online TWICE, and both times it was delivered damaged (see pics). The first time, it had a crack right down the front/middle and wasn’t salvageable at all. The second time, it came with a nice good chunk smashed off on the back end. Due to severely delaying the contractor already, we had no choice but to somehow install and salvage the damaged base. When we tried to phone Lowe’s to address this issue, he HUNG UP. We do not recommend this company at all. All we asked was for a compensation. They do not stand by their products and have no integrity.

Is this really how you all packaged a $700 item that is this heavy? It took an extra 3 weeks to arrive (set my project back pretty far) and then it arrives like this. I'm sure when I open it, there will be damages. Unreal. Not even a box, just straight up plastic with like 4 pieces of foam around the edges. You gotta do better Lowes

Awesome shower pan

My son and daughter removed our old tub and put in a walk in shower for us. They did a good but if research for older people and safety and this is the shower pan they chose. I could it be happier with it.

Very slippery

This shower base is super slippery. I thought I was going to fall and hurt myself terribly! When using soap or shampoo, more slippery! When I was considering it and spoke with a Kohler representative, she said it would NOT be slippery. Very wrong. I recommend it, but just know, you MUST have non-skid stickers or a mat with suction cups. Rated the shower base as a 4, because my level of expectation was set at a 5, and the slipperiness makes me mad.

Solid and well built.

This shower pan is a solid and well built item. Had ordered several other pans before this one and all came in broken from shipping or defective from the manufacturer. Not this one. The pan was packaged in a manner I don’t know how it could be damaged from shipping. And as far as quality, one good inspection tells this is as good as it gets. Also,this pan is heavy and their is no sign of any kind of defect. Beautiful shower pan.

The shower base is solid and smooth to the touch. Unfortunately it came with a few chips on the edge from shipping company. Houzz customer service was excellent and helped make it right for us. We would buy from this website again.

Trouble shipping but incredible response by service team at Kohler

I bought this online having never made a large home improvement purchase this way. The sales team at Kohler was helpful and we made a great decision. The first shipment arrived and the base was cracked. No problem called the Kohler team and they sent a replacement that was shipped with extra packing. It was strapped to a palate and arrived in perfect condition. the product looks great and fits the Modern Transitional look we were looking for in our rehab project. The base is strong and does not move with a quality feel under feet. I have a tiled floor in another shower and this one is far superior in quality. If you are looking for a great update I would recommend this product. The Kohler team is excellent!

This is a very nice product and two different contractors and my shower glass guy commented on how nice it is. The base looks sleek, but it is not slippery at all. I installed it in my teen daughter's bathroom and she loves it!

The photo shows a drain and the specification says there is a drain included. In reality the drain is not included. If you choose to go with the Kohler drain, you'll need to spend an additional $80+. I chose this base over the other because this one was to include a drain.

This is a beautiful product. It arrived on a well built pallet with all edges protected. Instructions were spot on and installation was straight forward - it is a two person job as the base is heavy. Perfectly cast and square making the tile installation a lot easier.

I chose this pan as an alternative to building a custom pan. I had a hard time getting it level with no flex. For a pan it's about as nice as it gets. I still prefer a custom tiled shower pan.
