The order fulfillment and support information were good. I was able to assemble it with the provided tools and info with no real surprises. The material looks promising; I expect it would last a long time as expected. I like the traditional green color.

Beautiful but not comfortable

The chair is beautiful and well made. Additionally it was fairly easy to assemble. However, it’s not very comfortable. The back and seat are designed at a right angle. You feel like you’re sitting very properly at a finishing school. In my husband’s words, “We can keep it for show but just know I’ll never sit in it.” I wanted to buy a whole set but attractive as it is, there’s no point buying something no one wants to sit in. I really think it’s pretty and a nice product so I hope they change the design a bit to make it more comfortable.

I am very happy with

I am very happy with my purchase. It was easy to put together and is quite comfortable. We had a day with really strong winds and the chair didn't move at all. I mean it was rocking but it didn't budge from its place. So very sturdy and everyone has loved it who has sat in it. I will be taking it in during the winter even though I don't have to, I will just feel better doing it. Overall, I couldn't be happier and I'm glad I waited until I found this product. I had been looking at rockers for a few years.

Polly wood Rocking chairs

I bought two with a small table. They aren’t used much. Around 600 dollars they were shipped to me a few years ago. The frame has cracked totally on one chair. They have the metal Pollywood label on the backside. Very disappointed! They are kept on balcony with roof. We are in our sixties so there is no wear and tear. I purchased the pretty orange set!

I purchased 2 chairs for my front porch. The instructions for putting them together were fairly easy to follow. For one chair I was missing the rockers, but it was easy to submit a ticket to report and get the parts. They arrived about a week later, and I was able to complete the construction of the 2nd chair. The chairs aren't as tall or wide as I would like, but they fill my need. If I were using the chairs every day I would be a little bummed, but they are perfect for "front porch rocking chairs".

I have Polywood Adirondack chairs and a bench, love them all, I wish I read the reviews before purchasing the 2 rockers. The seats are crazy narrow for something that has an 350lb capacity and they sit forward in an uncomfortable way. They were pretty easy to put together, had to back off a few screws to make things fit, but no big deal. I am still under the warranty period and on the fence as to whether to send back, as the boxes have already gone out to recycle. I giving a score of okay, because they are just that. I would like for management at Polywood to sit in them and come up with a better, more comfortable design.

There was a mistake. I ordered the Plastic Rocking Chair. I knew it would be delivered and would need to be assembled. I also knew I would be out of town for 2 weeks. My retired neighbor generously offered to look out for it AND assemble it for me as a "Welcome Home Gift." When I returned there was this beautiful white, WOODEN rocker on my front porch. I can not return it as it is fully assembled! I double checked my order- I DID order the plastic one but again this is lovely and I really like it. I didn't order the wooden one because I was concerned it would be a bit too large. It isn't!

Nice chair but not for coastal reagions--RUST

I have four of these chairs and the hardware is rusting on all of them. Polywood claims they use 18/8 "marine grade" hardware. 18/8 is the same as 304 stainless and is NOT marine grade in any way--that is false advertising. You need 316 stainelss or better to be marine grade. Being our chairs are being used on a costal property, it explains why they are rusting. Very dissapointed. Do not recommend if on a costal property.

The chair itself is amazing.

The chair itself is amazing. Well made, sturdy and attractive. My only caveat is putting this together was not easy. I have two chairs. The first did not have the correct hex wrench tool. When assembling the second chair, the seat did not fit into the slats. I attempted to call for help both times but never spoke to anyone. The wait times were over an hour long. I problem solved each issue successfully and I'm thrilled with my chairs but it was not an easy road to get there.

Method of torture

Clearly no one at Polywood sits in their own chairs because these things are beyond uncomfortable. The seat depth is off, the back is way too upright and it should be said that neither myself or my husband are large people but good god they are narrow. Maybe they purchased the design from Spirit Airlines? It’s that bad. Trying to return but we are on “business day 5” of not hearing anything back. Do not buy these.

Presidential rocker

This is our 3rd item from Polywood. The quality of workmanship is top notch. The material of our 2 Adirondack chairs withstood direct sun & rainy winters for a few years so we bought the presidential rocker.

Solid, attractive rocking chair

I've only had these for a couple of weeks, but so far I really like them. The Trex plastic and hardware are very robust so the chairs are solid and heavy, and they don't get hot to the touch even when baking in the sun. Other reviewers commented that these chairs were difficult to assemble, and in particular the pieces weren't joining properly, but I didn't find this to be the case. (It's probably best to not sink the screws all the way until it's fully assembled so there is some play, and having two sets of hands is helpful.) The chairs arrived earlier than expected, the package was in good condition, and all parts and instructions were included.

I gave these to my wife for our 37th anniversary with brass plates that say, “Let’s Keep on Rocking!” She loves loves loves them! She sits in her rocker on the porch daily. Fine quality and very easy to assemble, but even better, it will allow us to fulfill one of our early marriage goals to one day sit in our rockers and watch our grandchildren play in the yard. Our first grandchild is on the way, so things are in place to accomplish our goal. We expect these chairs to last a very long time and everything about them says they will.

Great chair easy to assemble but use a rubber mallet Very Comfortable. Do Not Purchase White !!! It quickly becomes blackened with dirt and soot

Not Happy With White Presidential Roxker

First off if you don’t give 5 stars Pollywood won’t post your review ! What’s up with that ??? Anyway it easy to assemble and comfortable but Quickly shows dirt and. Easily soils Even with various brushes and combo of cleaners Dawn Vinegar Zep Powerwash Meguire Car Wash Three hours later it’s about 30 percent cleaner POLYWOOD should supply or mention using a cover or Charge an additional fee for a cover This IS Really Poor Communication on the part of Polywood and will be my last purchase !!!! Buyer Beware !!!!

Great Chair!

For starters, the order arrived on schedule. Chairs were well-packaged, and all parts fit exactly as they should. I assembled the chairs by myself with no issues. Once assembled, they feel very solid and sturdy. They are comfortable, and they look great. They don't cost a lot more than chairs made of inferior materials that are not engineered to survive sun exposure for years. And the one-piece backpost looks so much better than the clunky ones that have to be screwed together. Definitely worth the price! And they're made in the USA!

Solid, well made rockers. Rocker was easy to put together. Previous reviews stated the holes were difficult to align. Pieces are easier to align if the screws are not tighten fully until all pieces are together. If you over tighten screws, the hole are off. Very happy with purchase. The reason for 4 stars, one missing back piece and two of another. My handy husband could easily modify but someone else would have a problem.

NIGHTMARE

This so far has been a ridiculously bad experience. Ordered a chair and cushion 6 weeks ago- the first chair never showed up -“lost” at the NC warehouse . 2nd chair- wrong color in the correctly labeled box- 3rd replacement never showed up. 4th one showed up and there are two identical vertical back supports( 2 left facing ones as far as the notches the back support fits into-you cant turn it around. The cut and angle of that then dont work with the curved bottom on the rocking chair. The arms were partially constructed , The other box wasnt packed the same ( the wrong color chair,much better packed and more cardboard packing — this newest one looks like some one taped it up and sent it back……) so therefore we cant even finish the assembly. Also, I chose the seat cushion beneath the the presidential rocker “accessories” and now realize the cushion I got was the wrong one!! It fits the Adirondack chair!

Presidential Rocker

the color is great (we got the teal) the durability seems really good to, we have only had the rockers for about 2 weeks and have a few storms on the ocean and they are holding up well. The rockers are very narrow, and not very deep either. They also sit very low. However, they are comfortable without a cushion even though we choose to use one to raise the seat height. It took a BBB claim to get the missing parts on one of the rockers before Polywood would get the parts to us. However, once we got the parts, the rockers have been nice. We will probably check to see if they have a larger version of the Presidential Rocker for future purchases.
