This is my 2nd Brio. First one lasted 6 years!!. Happy this model was available!! Excellent for 3 gallon water containers. Keeps water cold which makes oh so good for myself and 3 !

Broke within a year

It was a gift from my friend, so I do not have confirmation order detail and my friend didn't keep the information. Hot water function is not working within a year, emailed them and they refuse to replace or fix it. Very bad customer service.

Failed after the warranty expired!

Loved the Brio 500 when we first got it. Problem is, they only offer a one year warranty and that's when things start to fail. Our heating element went out (we don't use this regularly and tried it today) 16 months after we purchased it. Not sure if we can order the part to fix it (at a reasonable price) but this should not be a disposable product. You'd think it would last more than a year and Brio would back it up.

There are better options out there...

There must be a trick for the "innovative non-spill top" because when you attempt to flip a 3 or 5 gallon bottle onto it, half a gallon splatters all over the machine, wall, and floor. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the reservoir is a mere 16 ounces at best? You know, the infamous square peg/round hole effect? It's the complete opposite of tossing a hot dog down the hallway.

dont expect it to last

I wait about a year to review. This product starting leaking after I took out our Pur water filter bottle. We only keep about 2-3 gallons in it at a time. As You fill it from the top, by removing the top section, so the part within the coller is not removed. I took out the entire bottle for the first time to rinse out the bottom section. when I replaced it back into the holder. I filled it with two gallons of Distilled water. It leaked the entire content. I have to assume that if I had to remove the bottle over and over to refill and replace, that the leaking would have started long ago!

Don't expect it to last!

I always wait about a year to give a review as too many times people will review something right after purchase and it quits after. I have had my Brio for a little over a year and all of a sudden it started leaking! I removed my Pur Filter 5-gallon container to rinse it out and when I put it back the Brio leaked all five gallons out!!! That was all I did! Since the Pur 5-gallon container is two parts and you only remove the top section to fill, I have to assume that this would have happened far earlier if I had to remove the bottom section over and over again like a regular 5-gallon bottle! Cannot find any fix or trouble shooting information anywhere on the Internet! Very poor customer service!!!!!!

Leaks Like The Titanic

I bought this piece of crap less than a year ago and it's continually leaking entire bottle contents with no explanation. I have to get rid of it because it's going to ruin my floors. It sucks and it wasn't cheap to buy. Stay away! From One Disgruntled Customer

BS500 Countertop Cooler

This is a very nice solid looking cooler. The hot water doesn't dispense water. I was under the impression it would hold a 5 gallon water jug but it only holds 3.

Would not recommend this product

I ordered this cooler for our shop. I read through the instructions (very easy to set up), turned it on and immediately had a flood all over the countertop and floor. I returned it for replacement (which took a little over a week), and the second one leaked just as bad. This time, however, it leaked overnight, so by the time I found it my countertop was already ruined.

Hot water stopped working in less than years

Very disappointed with this. The hot water stopped working in less than two years. Of course the warranty is expired by the time it broke.

Nice Cooler but It Leaked

Seemed like a nice cooler. Mine leaked. Sent it back for free and got a new one. It's been outside for days and hasn't leaked.

Beautiful addition to my kitchen

Everything about this cooler is perfect, although I would have liked the cold to be colder and the hot to be hotter. I need to add ice for drinking water and need to microwave my tea for 30 seconds for my temp preferences.
