Doesn't clean clothes, bad odors. What warranty?

DO NOT BUY! We purchase this unit over a year ago (2 year warranty). Our clothes were on/off smelling. Not smelling of mold or mildew but sewage. Samsung sent a tech out that had to call them. The Samsung "tech support" was rude an obnoxious to their own tech. Samsung was blaming me being on city water...I have a whole house water filter system so that was garbage. Then they said it was the washing machine drain....but the unit was installed correctly. I suspect there is a larger underlining issue in the washing machine itself. Once Samsung started stating it was everything but their product, I knew they were full of it. The know they can't fix it. This is the second Samsung appliance I have had were they won't stand up to their warranty. Samsung will not stand behind their products and the warranty isn't worth the piece of paper it is printed on. Buy another brand. Stay far away from these clowns!

[Rewarded Review] Worst mistake ever

We purchased this 5 weeks ago. It stopped working last week. We contacted Samsung and have had 2 separate repairmen, from different companies come out and change different parts, as instructed by Samsung. Neither repairman even knew how to open the unit and had to watch videos sent to them by Samsung. Both parts did not help, and we still have the same error code. We now have to wait again for ANOTHER part, and another repair company (as the others refuse to come back again). At this point, I will have been waiting for it to get fixed LONGER than we have been able to use it. I have been having to take time off work for repair visits, and spend $100’s at the laundromat while they try to fix it. They refuse to call it defective and replace. There is no reason a 5 week old machine should need to be ‘rebuilt’, part by part to try to get it to work.

Loud Spin Cycle - No Support on Protection Plan

Product looks great and have owned washer for about a year now, I would advise to avoid purchase of this Samsung washer at Lowes. It was great and very quiet over the first 5 months but now it sounds like a jet engine. Extremely loud during entire spin cycle. I got the protection plan but after two attempts to get a tech out I have received no assistance. After additional research I found that this is a common issue with Samsung washers. Save your money purchase different brand with another supplier with better protection plan support. If I could go back I would do the same as I regret this purchase.

Do not buy . VERY LOUD. Terrible Warranty & Care

If I could rate this zero stars I would. The Machine is a nightmare. The size is great, but the spin cycle sounds like a plane is landing or about to crash in my home. I have Samsung Care+ and the claim has been denied. We have tried to balance it seneveral times. Over time the sound gets louder and louder. Do NOT BUY from Samsung. DO NOT Buy this washer. Terrible investment. It looks really pretty. It connects to wifi. But we cannot run the washing machine without fear the drum is going to pop out like a rocket. DO NOT BUY. Do not get Samsung Care+. Do not waste your money. Go with LG. We are purchasing an LG this week because this is way too much hassle.

[Rewarded Review] Good, but with some things discovered after use.

It's good, but it has some flaws. I was expecting a bit more from an AI type of washing machine. There are times when I wash a maximum of 7 bath towels, and the whole washing machine would move from one place to another. In my mind, I would think its overloaded for that to happen. However, I did contact Samsung and they claim this is "normal." I really doubt that is true. Another thing is that they mention this washer uses "less water" to help with water bill. Honestly, with that feature, I come out to discover my clothes are still dirty for that reason. I wish there was a way to turn off the less water feature to use more water for cleaning my clothes. But overall, the machine works great like it should, I love the other features and its great for what it does.

So far, so good. No leaks. Decent size of a washer, and it's a good steel drum inside.

So far so good - but they are brand new!

I've only had these for just over a week, but so far so good. They are all digital, there is a knob but it selects the digital options, so that always makes me nervous in terms of longevity but I did get the Brick 5 yr warranty as these days nothing lasts like it used to. I love the size of these - they are the biggest i could find for a reasonable price that wasn't considered Commercial size/price, but it's great. My one peeve about front loaders now that i've had some, is that if you don't wipe out the water in the rubber ring at the front, over time it will get moldy and stain black and you CAN'T get it off. So, lesson learned, if you are done laundry, use a paper towel to wipe it all on the inside of the rubber and leave door open to dry out... you'll see how much water it collects under the rubber, and even with the door open it doesn't dry enough... they should suggest this in the manual but they don't. Overall, very happy with the Brick as I always am when I go to them. They will be competitive in pricing so just ask them and do your research on pricing. My salesperson was great, he was kind, patient and helpful (Harsh was his name) and delivery was quick/smooth, they did a great job taking away the old ones and installing the new, so i'm happy so far! Will buy from the Brick again and will update if the products force me to change my review later :)

Purchased original version of this washer recently. Within 2 weeks, water started leaking through the bottom of the door. Chalked it up to the fact that the delivery guys didn't install it correctly and might have done something wrong (I pointed it out when they finished, and they told me I was wrong - second crew agreed with me)

[Rewarded Review] Glad I Stayed With Samsung

Love the larger capacity (5.3 cu. ft.) that lets me wash my loads quicker. At first I thought the digital commands were going to be hard to use. It is so easy even my husband can wash a load correctly. Had my old Samsung washer and dryer seventeen years. I was very attached to them and was almost sad to let them go. They were still working but I wanted a larger capacity. I am so glad I stayed with Samsung. We researched all brands and became so confused. They all had good and bad reviews. So we went on 17 years of great service with our old Samsung units. Love, love love this unit. I would rcommend this unit to everyone.

Fancy

For the first time ever, I allowed the delivery guys to do the install and I am so happy that I did. They did a fantastic job. I would have been laid up for a week with my back had I tried to stack the washer and dryer. For my vertically challenged wife, they connect to each other so you can control both with the lower controls. They look nice, they have an app so you can control when you have to step out for a bit. I was going to hand a sign on them saying voice activated to see if my son would talk to them, but what do you know, they are actually voice activated. He won't believe me, but they are. When I finish my computer science degree, I'll tell you how the voice activation and other fanciness works. For normal washing and drying, just tell it to start in the app or push a few buttons and it takes care of the rest. The fancy parts can come later.

Bespoke looks but poor ergonomics

The drum sits very low on this machine. This escaped me at the store because the unit was stacked on another washer, but once home and having used it a bunch of times, I have come to realize that I have to just about get on my knees to see to the back of the drum and reach in to get things that are stuck to the drum wall. If you put it on a pedestal this might not be an issue, but if you floor mount it, it is something to consider. After 4 months of useage, I can say that had I realized this when I bought it, I would not have done so. You can't really know until you use something a bunch of times.

Terrible quality

Terrible quality. Destroyed itself form within after 18 months. How beneficial for them that it breaks right after the warranty expiries. Technician said it was a manufacturer’s error. That it shouldn’t have disintegrated from inside the way it did. Because it’s not under warranty anymore. Samsung refuses to cover it. Phone customer service is terrible. They have you on hold for hours and make promises they no longer keep. Two days after fixing it by their technician, it breaks the same way. They say the have a 90 day service guarantee but then expect me to pay for the part again! How does that make sense! Don’t buy their appliances, they trash! And they’re customer service is just as bad and they’re liars!

All these great reviews leave me scratching my head. These were so expensive, and look… I know it’s pretty, and I understand the app seems cool… but not worth your sanity!

Lots of bells and whistles

I like the washer, the entire delivery/set-up was a nightmare. The washer is easy to use once you find the instructions online. I would have appreciated a paper copy of detailed instructions for this machine. There are so many functions and options of how to use this. I am a little nervous that the machine will continue to run as long as my last machine, given there are so many things that could go wrong with the electronics. What I absolutely hate about the machine is the location of the drain. I have animals. They have hair. After the first 4 days of running this machine almost constant, the filter clogged and the machine told me to clean the drain. No worries, I thought. I drained the water into a bucket until no additional water came out of the hose. Then, I opened the drain. The drain is set back into the machine about 2 inches. About a cup of water spilled out with the filter. There is absolutely no way of preventing this overspill once the filter is clogged with dog and horse hair. Water went down under the machine and then spilled onto my hardwood floor. In the future I will clear the drain more frequently to prevent this from happening again. If the engineers would design the drain to protrude to the front of the machine most of this mess would have been avoided. What I love is the ability to preload the reservoir with laundry detergent and fabric softener, hit the AI wash button and the machine figures out the rest The wash cycle does run longer than my last LG washer of the same caliber. Just something I need to get used to.

[Rewarded Review] Not good with dog hair

I bought this and a Samsung dryer a couple months ago. So far, it seems to be doing a good job cleaning things but have had a few different issues that have come up that haven't been issues on my previous washers. First thing is dog hair. We have 2 dogs, our stuff has a small amount of dog hair on it before it goes in the washer. When it is done, the hair collects in between the front rubber seal, where the water drains out. There is typically a pile of dog hair that I have to pull out of that area after a load is done. The other issue is when I have hoodies or other articles of clothing that have a string or long thin sleeves on a shirt, or thin long pant legs, they will wrap around everything and then all the clothes are wrapped up in a big twisted knotted up ball. It is quite difficult to remove the clothes when this happens as they are all connected and knotted together. Also, being it is a very large front load washing machine, it can be difficult to pull everything out of the very back of the machine, as it is deep and low. Other than that, I like the overall technology of the washer, and it is also able to be linked up to my Samsung phone via "smart things" device control. I have not done this yet, as I'm not sure how it would benefit me, but I plan on looking into it in the future. The washer also looks very nice, no buttons on the outside, just a dial, and the rest are digital buttons that show up when you push the digital "on" button.

[Rewarded Review] Powerful Washer

The Samsung Bespoke Washer is an elegant powerful machine that has not disappointed. Prior to the new machines my wife had to wash my gym clothes twice and add extra detergents to make them smell fresh again. Now she runs the wash with Steam and the clothes come out smell free the first run. This is impressive for me as it now takes half the laundry time to get the job done. Another great thing is how quiet this set is. Our new laundry room is an open space next to the kitchen and the machine is so quiet that I sometimes must make sure the washer is on. We love the super speed wash for things we need back within an hour. A bonus is the Samsung Smart Things App that reminds us on the Samsung television via a prompt that the washer or dryer is done. The color of the machine is perfect. Originally, we had our eyes on either a white or black set but this Navy is very elegant and it’s very dark deep blue in person so it goes perfect with our modern black and white interior design. Overall, I highly recommend this set for anyone in the market for a new washer and dryer.

[Rewarded Review] Efficiency and looks

Compared to my previous washer, this has more than exceeded all my expectations. The washing machine is very nice looking, much better than what is shown in the pictures. And the navy blue is actually a very neutral color, it's not too bright and it's not too dark as in navy black. And I found that I can wash a great amount, I looked at it at first And thought that I would have to limit my loads. But I actually could wash two Queen size comforters in it with no problem. On that note, it washes extremely well. I didn't have to wash multiple times to get my items completely clean like my other washing machine. The steam feature in particular is something that I didn't think that I would use so regularly. It definitely kills the smell off of fabric, and it keeps it off! Extremely helpful with towels, linens, and especially the baby's clothes. No matter how much you put in it, it is extremely quiet. There were times where I had to come in the laundry room and check to see if it was still on! A very new concept that I ended up really liking is the integration feature. It's where it let you know when the washer is done so you can put your items in the dryer. If this sounds a bit off-putting to you when it comes to the amount of notifications you get, you only get no more than two and that's it. You won't be too bombarded with alert's! But I have to recommend this washer, this is absolutely perfect for our big family and it definitely keeps up with us and our messes!

[Rewarded Review] Exceptional Washer

This washer was a little difficult to get used to. That is because it it not at all like any other washer I have seen or owned before. The settings on it is digital so very different from what I have seen on other washers. I did have to go through it multiple times to see all the setting it brought as well as to see how good it runs. After getting all that figured out I did find that this Samsung Bespoke Washer is great in all it's features. It looks great and works perfectly without any more difficulties. A definite plus for me is the ability to connect this washer to the SmartThings App. I have the ability to control the washer just at the tip on my fingers. What I also find very useful is the noise reduction of this washer compared to many other washers. I can barely hear the washer running it's cycles. A great washer that does an exceptional job at cleaning my clothes and those of my kids, a great Washer to look at just itself, and some great features added, what more can I ask for. I will definitely recommend this Samsung Bespoke Washer to all my friends and Family.
