We love the GE front load washer

We bought this washer in early October. We bought a similar model for our beach home a few years ago and my wife loved it. The two things she like most about this washer are the "tank" that you can fill with detergent without having to add detergent each load PLUS she loves having an interior light. She recently used the steam cycle and was very pleased. Large capacity is great.

Very nice unit

Very nice piece of equipment, I truly like the ability to relieve the extra moisture within the barrel. So far have enjoyed the unit and the newer cycles. One major dislike was no hardware to attach the pedestal, sold separately without any indication. Plus the actual pedestal was extremely cheap and not very sturdy for the price I paid.

Washing Machine

The washing machine was good for the first two loads. After that it stopped spinning. I had to have it replaced my second washing machine, then started not to work on the whites only load. It would say fill but nothing would happen.

Excellent app user friendly.

We have always depended on GE products for longevity. Hopefully it will be the same with GE washer. My wife loves the GE app.

Great choice so far at 9 months usage.

We’ve had this machine for nine months now. It services a family of three with multiple loads of laundry per week Machine is quiet efficient and the venting function is great On our last front loader we had a problem With molder mildew buildup, but not with this machine since the venting dries the tub and gaskets out. I would recommend this machine

Wonderful & quiet

Washes wonderful and it's so quiet. Clothes are clean and fresh.

I love my washer. I use to have a top loading machine. It always gave me problems. I love the simplicity of this washing machine. It quiet. It cleans my clothes. Also love the venting feature.

Wow, beautiful machines!

Wow! These machines are beautiful. We purchased these because of the ability to fill it with detergent and not have to fill it every time, the pedestals, the ability to use the dry cycle on the washer to dry out the washer, the trap on the front of the machine and the capacity of both the washer and dryer. So far everything is running and cleaning our clothes as they should. Do wish there was a physical manual provided, but that is just another thing a need to file somewhere.

Outstanding Washer

GE has come out with an outstanding washer. The features that it can do makes life easier, and the app tells you what the washer is doing. Best of all is when your done press Ultrafresh vent button and start. It dry's the gasket so you don't get mold anymore. Thank you GE for making my life easier by adding these features to this washer. Highly recommend it

Newest tech in appliances

Fantastic new features. Bluetooth communicates with dryer. Great new ventilation system that eliminates front load washer smell. Anti bacterial material in gaskets also combat washer smell. Genius.

Prior version of this washer died in 2 years

We have the predecessor to this washer, model GFW650SPNSN, which died in a bit over 2 years. Either the motor and/or the inverter board went. Unfortunately GE's 10 year coverage is only for the motor itself, and not labor or troubleshooting or service call. A local service tech suggested just to replace the whole washer, as it was going to cost between $200-600 to repair plus wait time for parts, and you wouldn't know cost until you were already knee deep into the process. I wouldn't have bought another GE, but for that we have a small laundry closet, and must have the units stacked. So, with the matching GE dryer that works, we were locked in to another GE washer.

Loud washing machine. Shakes a lot while washing. Like the vent feature.
