Excellent! Delivered to the door in perfect shape, easy install. So much nicer than our old toilet that was original to the house! Very pleased with my first Wayfair purchase!

Flushes like a champ but has finish issues

A few months ago, we replaced one 29-year-old 1.6 gal toilet with a white Cadet Pro 1.28 gal. Overall we are very happy with how incredibly well it flushes and how the bowl stays clean, but it has a blemish on the tank lid. Unfortunately, the toilet in our master bathroom failed shortly after (and before next year's planned remodel), so we scrambled to replace it with another Cadet Pro. Unfortunately, I wished I had fully inspected the bowl before our plumber installed, because there are several roughly glazed areas inside the bowl's water spot, which is much more concerning than on a lid. I will be watching this toilet closely to ensure that the blemishes don't lead to bowl failure. This finish issue makes me hesitate to replace the third toilet with a Cadet Pro. My rating is 5 stars for function and 2.5 stars for the inconsistent finish.

Cadet Pro Flushes Like a Champ!

We needed a standard height round bowl 1.28 gallon toilet for our tiny bathroom and were down to 2 that fit the bill. While I love how well the Cadet Pro flushes and its overall sleek design, I wish we had caught the glaze blemish in an obvious spot on the lid (near the lever) before our plumber installed. Otherwise it’s a great toilet.

I never thought I'd purchase a toilet online, but I couldn't find the one I wanted in stock and the price was crazy high. I checked out Wayfair and thought I was getting the same one I had been looking at locally, but missed the fact it was standard height, not chair height. I have since installed the toilet and it is working perfectly. I wish it was chair height, but I saved money on getting standard height and the toilet was delivered quickly, so all in all, I'm happy I bought it. No issues with installation and it matches my tub which I'm happy about. Replaced an older water wasting toilet so looking forward to a lower water bill.

Very happy with purchase. Fits new toilet just fine and looks great. Just what I was looking for. I had a wood type seat before and was disappointed that I could not find a new wood type, but I am very happy with this pick and as I say it look great and it is slow close, too. The hinges was nickle and look very nice, a little big.

Perfect in every way - slim lines, quiet and quick flush, keeps itself clean, uses fewer than half the GPF over my old toilet, has a basic/universal flush mechanism should I need repairs down the road.... what more could one want from a toilet?

Quality is marginal, Customer service nonexistent

I ordered this toilet directly from American Standard on line. After ordering I did receive a conformation email that the order was placed, two weeks later the toilet was sitting in my driveway. Would be nice to notify your customers about shipping info. During the unpacking I noticed the tank lid was rough and uneven on the back edge, I chose to just live with that. I also noticed the EZ-install kit was missing for the bowl, sent a message to American Standard with my order number and all my info 2 weeks ago, no response from them! Upon installation I noticed that the base of the bowl was rocking on the bathroom floor and was pretty uneven, more that a quarter of an inch low on the front edge that I could see and I did confirm this with a straightedge. Overall I would rate the quality as poor, customer service is terrible, I will say the flush quality is pretty good.

Why no wax seal?

The toilet is fine but I was surprised that the toilet did not include a wax seal. Hard to install the toilet without one. Other than that, once I purchased one, it was quite simple to install and seems to be very well made.

GREAT GREAT BUY!

Got a great price on this toilet. Have no problem at all with flushing with 1.24 gpf. Happened to match my sink almost to the T. Very powerful flush. Do not see having a problem with clogging at all. So great of a replacement of an older toilet that always had clogging problems. The self- cleaning is doing a great job after a month's use. Highly recommend this one flush toilet because of its low gpf. Less problems with fewer parts. Do not feel toilet is noisy. After all, this IS a toilet. Do not question buying this particular model. At this great sale price and super look and performamance you won't go wrong. More expensive is not always better, believe me!

A great small toilet with a solid flush and a budget-friendly discounted price. And unlike box stores that I have ordered from in the past, American Standard's quality control and packaging were first rate -- no toilet damage or defects of any kind. I'd recommend buying direct from AS online to anyone who asks.

I had this installed 1 mo ago. It has changed my life! As in I'm having a nervous breakdown because of the clogging, flooding, gurgling, and have had to resort to hanging a plastic bag with kitty litter (just like camping!) to use at all. I have had successful flushes only to sit down for the wonderful experience of overflow! Contractor says it must be defective because it can't be installation ($300.00). I live in a place 1 hr from everything, a plumber says he should be able to ck out in another wk or so, did I mention I have company coming end of mo? Seriously I'm stressed to the limit, I need to talk to customer service rep asap, I'm 75 but maybe there's snthg I can adjust? 1 star because it is white.

A.S. products are the only way to go.

If you are looking for a new toilet, then American Standard is the only way to go. I chose the Cadet Pro because I have had used them in our other bathrooms. They are a solid product.

All around great

Straight forward easy install. Looks great. No leaks. Height of the seat is perfect and what you would expect from a modern toilet. Fit and finish are high quality. The best part is the flush. Its powerful but quiet and apparently efficient. Nice. What else can you ask of a toilet? I would recommend it.

CRACKED TANK

I kept hearing a faint water drip and finally found a cracked toilet tank that we purchased in 2019. In my 70 years I have never known this to happen. Series 731BA

Very impressed by the online video . The trap is larger than most so no worries that the kids will clog it.

I ordered this with high expectations after all the 5 star reviews. I'm pretty disappointed. I bought a different low-volume toilet last year from another site which I could flush and not wake my husband without closing the door between the rooms. This one woke him up with a white noise machine on in the bedroom and two closed doors between. We've only had it a few days, but I did already have to clean it after someone let stuff sit overnight and it caused a ring. There were also some brownish speckles at the top of the bowl that I can't get off even with a magic eraser. I don't know whether it was on there when we got it or whether it somehow got a stain from grout, but it's not coming off. You can probably get a basic toilet at your local wholesale store for half the price that will be just as good.

Nice new upgrade to the Standard Toilet

Toilet looks great now that it is installed. I was kind of caught off guard when the contractor asked where the toilet seat was. That was my fault as I did not read the description properly. Sent hubby off to the store to purchase new seat. :)
