I installed the toilet two days ago. So far so good. Flushes like a champ. I have had two other kohler and they both started clogging after a few years. With this addition, i now have three American standard . The other two American standard i have had for around 6-10 years and no problems. I will only purchase American standard going forward.

100 times better then the Koehler it replaced. Standard fill and flush parts that are available anywhere for a whole lot less money and much easier to replace them. Thank You American Standard for keeping it simple. Your product is second to none.

Installation was straight forward. Toilet has nice appearance and flushing action seems to be very strong. Product was well packaged and undamaged. Pleased with my purchase. Good value for the price. One Improvement would be to include a toilet seat with toilet.

Not for a healthy gut!

This requires brushing clean after every healthy-gut use because water-rinse pattern is so inadequate. Such an inconvenience!

When we first bought our new house, we had to install a few toilets in the bathrooms. We decided to go with this one because the price was reasonable and it uses less water per flush. Raised higher than normal toilets. The only issue we have with this toilet, is it tends to keep running and you have to mess with the back of it so it will stop running. Also it clogs very easily. Even with a tiny bit of toilet paper. Because of this issue and trying to get it fixed by a plumber, we purchased a new one. Luckily this came with a great warranty and the store returned it for a different brand.

Excellent toilet - it just works

American Standard Cadet Pro 1.6gpf works great. This is the third one of these that I have installed in our house since 2018, and they all work great. One flush and done. Very reliable. With these toilets, a plunger is almost never needed. I highly recommend this toilet.

Toilet seat is brutal

My husband installed this to replace an old toilet. It flushes great and is very quiet. The seat does not fit properly and makes it very uncomfortable to sit on. I don't want my husband to return the toilet but I would like a properly fitted seat. Very frustrating.

Happy non-handyman installation of 4 Cadet toilets

I bought 4 Cadet 3 Dual Flush Toilets and installed them myself... yes I said by myself !!!

Just purchased. Excellent instructions, easy assembly and installation. Good quality. Works very well. Very happy with the purchase. This is the second of this series I have recently purchased. Installed a 10" rough in in another bath and it works great too. Good reports from my wife and daughter. All that matters!

good toilet

have been using for 2 months now and like advertised it flushes everything without clogging. The only complaint I have is that if you don't throw toilet paper into the water it will get stuck on the side of the bowl, not enough water comes out to wash it down.American Standard tells you to make sure the holes on the rim are open which I did with a hanger yet it still doesn't wash the sides of the bowl down.

Poor quality control

I recently purchased two cadet pro toilets. While the functionality of the toilets seems fine, the toilets had multiple defects that required multiple returns to the plumbing supply store to sort out. One bowl that I purchased had missed spots of finish on the bowl, and the tank lid also had a glaring imperfection of finish. Upon getting a new lid, it did not fit on the tank. The lid replacement I got was made in China, and the tank was made in Mexico. It seems that the two had slightly different specs. Bottom line: Check your toilets before installing, the quality control is not that good!

Cracked bowl

I had the Cadet PRO Right Height Elongated 1.6 gpf Toilets put in each of our 3 bathrooms when the house was built in 2014. We had one of them develop a crack and I had to replace it this week. I have never had a toilet crack before in my 52 years. I have not had any problem with this model flushing, running, or any other performance issues so I have not lost faith in Amaracan Standard as a quality product. With being able to replace only the bowl and not have to buy and replace the tank also I replaced it with the same thing but it is to bad that the bowl doesnt have a lifetime warranty

Cadet PRO Right Height Elongated 1.6 gpf Toilet

Plumber installed Cadet PRO Right Height Elongated Toilet in August 2017. Flushing of this toilet is a vast improvement over the previous toilet and it is much more quiet. The only downside of manufacture is that the interior of the bowl is not enameled in the same manner as the exterior of the toilet. This makes cleaning difficult. Also, the seat is subject to scratches from jewelry (rings on hand), leaving black marks on the seat that must be buffed out.

I love the flush!

This is a great toilet. It flushes really well and is pretty quiet! Very nice lines and the seat height is perfect! The only issue is a strange water trickling sound after you flush. No leaks but seems like others have noticed this as well. It seems to be just the way the toilet works! I'm use to it now!

Clean lines, quick flushing

I like the clean lines of the toilet. Water saving but bowl is not always clean with only a single flush which defeats any water saving features. The included lid is OK but not great. I like the soft closing feature but the seat seems too flimsy.

Best toilet replacement ever

We moved into a new home and 3 of the toilets were standard height which did not sit well with my husband at 6'7" and me 5'10". We asked our plumber for his recommendations and we chose American Standard ADA Cadet Pro Right Height Elongated. On one of the toilets we replaced a lid with a Bidet fully automated. We cannot believe the difference with the raised height. In fact, when we used a loo at a friends house that was a standard height, my husband said he thought he was falling down! those inches make a difference. These new toilets are so well made and the flush mechanism is the best, even our plumber says that and its true. I won't name the other brand we had in our other houses, but, those toilet flushes were forever having problems. Highly recommend this Brand.

Glad I saw this and purchased it online

Item was packed very security - double boxed with very good padding. It's exactly as described, the American Standard Cadet Pro toilet in white. All parts including the tool kit were provided, and the plumber had it installed in a very few minutes. It's a very nice 'right hight' (meaning taller) toilet. I've had only good experiences with the AS Cadet line so I'm expecting the same from this one.

great value & works everytime

I bought this a couple of months ago to meet new city water useage requirements. I heard only bad things about low flow toilets so i really did not want to switch toilets. I was amazed at how well it works. This toilet works better than the toilet I had! It handles my family's use no problems. This is a winner in low flow toilets. I am happy to save water. This was a no brainer to do.
