Beware of the peeling finish!

I paid extra for a pretty coffee maker and now it is an ugly coffee maker bc the finish on the handle is peeling off. Come on -- for $200? I would expect that if I paid $20 for it, not $200.

Coffee maker of your dreams!

I was in search of a new coffee maker that was sleek, had a glass carafe, and had the auto-brew option. This one surpassed my expectations! The Café is beautiful and functional all in one. There’s many temperature options which is also nice. Highly recommend!

Not reliable

Worked for approximately 17 months then said “add water” when tank is full. Don’t spend $300 on a coffee maker that will not last

Great Machine!

This machine is the best brewer I have ever used. It’s easy to fill with grounds and water, brews quickly, and the flavor of the coffee is smooth with no bitterness. I am using the permafilter that came with the machine, as well as the default “gold” brew setting. It looks nice on the counter as well.

One of the best cups of coffee I’ve had at home!

I did a lot of research to find a coffee maker for our home and this has been a wonderful success!

Worth it!

Absolutely worth it. I prefer this coffee maker over the other high price ones. Very happy with it

Don’t buy

I purchased this coffee maker thru Williams Sonoma and after it hit 2 years it kept saying add water when the reservoir was full. I always descaled and from other reviews the customer service team could care less, well with the amount of coffee makers out there I’ll be recommending any other company than this one. Very disappointing for a coffee maker that costs over $300.00

No replacement parts

I know it's pretty, and makes good coffee, but GE is unable to make any replacement parts for this coffee maker. We needed to replace the carafe, and ordered it through a service rep in the parts department. When ordered, it had a backorder time of a month (May), which was reasonable. But then it became July, then August, then September. The part (WC02X20561) now shows October. Please trust me - don't buy this coffee maker.

I WANTED to love this coffee maker...but I can't

I want to love this coffee maker but I just can't. It does several things great. I do like the app as I can set multiple schedules to brew at different times in the morning and different cup amounts...you only buy a smart coffee maker when you want it to brew in the morning and be ready when you want it ready. Which brings me to the not advertised or BEST FEATURE of this coffee maker....since it's connected to your Wi-Fi when you unplug it or if you have a power outage...THE CLOCK SETS ITSELF! I was tired of having to reprogram the clock every time on my old coffee maker and then tell it what time to start brewing (yes, completely first world problems) but this one sets the clock itself and I haven't seen a review yet that mentions this awesome feature. I have not explored the different temperatures or brew strengths as I have been quite happy with the Gold setting.

This coffeemaker is wonderful. The coffee is always perfect.

Broken Pot lid - replacement impossible

I purchased the matte black coffee maker with an insulated pot. Apparently that is no longer available. The lid of the part broke into its two plastic pieces, and although I put it back together, I need to get new lid for the pot. But apparently spare pots or other parts are not available on amazon or this website. Very disappointing.

Do Not Purchase

My coffee maker worked great for a year and a half and then one day it started giving an error and stopped working. The GE support team offered little to no help on replacing or fixing the unit. I had to call 4 or 5 different times to talk to the correct person and when I did talk to the correct person, they did not give me a way to fix the unit and they told me it was just out of warranty and I would have to purchase another one. This unit is not cheap and I am very disappointed at the lack of support.

Looks fantastic and makes a great cup!

Love the look and it makes a great cup of coffee. Two things that could be improved. Every time we take the glass pot out coffee/liquid drops on the hot pad. It would be nice if it was a 12 cup pot.

Great coffee!

Love the coffee maker, but only gave it four stars because of what I consider a design flaw. That design flaw is that the water container does not have any way of evaporating the moisture during the day, and I must prop the lid open so that moisture does not build up and create a mold situation. Otherwise, this Coffee maker makes a very good cup of coffee and I like the fact that there is a mobile app which allows me to change the brewing or start it from another room.

Let Down

I had high hopes for this coffee maker. Initially, I loved it. So beautiful - as are all cafe appliances. Shame on me for assuming the quality would be equally as great. I had only had it for about a year and a half when the carafe started to warp and peel. Mind you, we take very good care of our things and carefully hand washed the carafe after each use. I called customer service in APRIL about the issue. I was told a replacement would be sent in early June. Okay, fine. It is now AUGUST and I have yet to receive the replacement. I just continue to be told that the product is on back order. The carafe handle is literally rotting. The top of the handle is now lifted and the top opening where the lid goes is being pushed in by the expansion of whatever this rot is. Soon, the lid will no longer fit and I will no longer be able to use the maker period. (See photos) Needless to say, I will not be purchasing anymore products from Cafe. Such a disappointment.

Carafe defective

We purchased this at the end of April 2023 and now the plating on the handle is peeling. Called Cafe thinking that they may cover it as it is not too far out of warranty, thought they were very nice they declined to make good on it and gave me the part number so I can order a new carafe. Not what I was expecting since all my kitchen appliances (stove, dishwasher, over stove microwave hood and toaster) are Cafe, figured they would want to keep me happy. The new carafe is $64, crazy price

2 COFFEE MACHINES HAVE BROKEN.

ISSUES WITH THIS COFFEE MACHINE. The first one I purchased went out. After getting a replacement from GE, the second machine went out after 15 months. GE said the warranty does not restart when getting a replacement! For a machine that is over $200, you would think it would last several years.
