Product Review
This machine quit completely at exactly two years. The water tank started leaking, the pot stopped pulling the water through at all, even after I tried to decalcify it. The hot plate also stopped warming up. It was almost as if this pot was calculated to quit at the two year point. I had a Capresso mini espresso machine from the early 2000s (before they were acquired by Jura, and it still works, So I had high hopes for this Coffee pot. Customer service at Jura was absolutely awful. Buyba different brand.
Polecam.Bardzo dobrej jakości syntetyk a jestem fryzjerką i gruby.
No cóż, kucyk zdecydowanie cieńszy niż poprzedni, który kupiłam i swieci się zbyt mocno. Poprzednia sztuka nie była aż taka „sztuczna”
Good coffee, but....
Incredibly loud during grinding. Seems to develop an 'airlock' in the water line between the reservoir and heating chamber when not used for a longish period of time. Does make good coffee, but not when the water isn't delivered to the grounds.
Love my new coffee maker. I was doing “pour over” and this is great coffee less hassle.
Owned several of this model since 2015
The previous model was still working after five years, but I wanted this new sleek version for a remodeled kitchen. In my experience, this model works great for about two years if it is properly maintained. After each use, I clear the grinder which is easily done by simultaneously pressing two buttons. Once a week, I remove the hopper, take out the grind mechanism and brush clean. That process is also quite easy amd takes little effort. Don’t overfill the hopper, as it must be closed for the machine to engage and operate. Clean the basket after use and regularly brush out the grinding shoot hole as well. All this is pretty simple and takes little, time to do. The machine will alert when it is time to descale. It is important to descale regularly, just do it. With basic maintenance, this machine works beautifully. The coffee tastes great, although the temperature is probably 189 vs the perfect 192–if that’s important to you. I set to medium grind, 6 and add water to almost the 10 line. Plate stays hot for 2 hours, glass carafe taste is fine throughout that period but typically we drink the pot within 75 minutes. This model, for us, is used daily, making one pot in the morning. Our experience is that it stops working 18-24 months. One machine failed after six months and it was easily and quickly replaced under warranty, Capresso service for us has been very good.
Heater Lasts About 2 Years
I've owned several of this model, love it even though I know from experience that the heating element lasts about 2 years. The grinder should be cleared after every use, easily done by simultaneously pressing two buttons. The machine will alert when it is time to descale, do it!!!! I also remove the hopper every two weeks, take out the grinder disk and brush it clean, also easy..not time consuming. Keep it clean and it will work properly. Do not overfill the hopper, as the lid must be closed for machine to work. We set the grind to medium, 6 and pour in water for almost 10 cups...love it. We keep purchasing it, so we definitely like it and we know how to clean, use and that in 2 years it probably is going to be replaced direct from Capresso
Stay away from this model
They should’ve kept making the older model. My old capresso lasted 6 years before it started leaking badly. On this model the Grinder basket overfills, the loud beeps can’t be turned off and the fact it looks it belongs at a car dealership waiting room made me return it.
Leaked Coffee, returned. Second one leaks coffee.
Short version: avoid the Capresso Grind and Brew Pro Plus
Loved it til it became a plain old drip machine
The machine makes great coffee, BUT...
Bardzo dobra jakoś włosów, szkoda ze nie ma dłuższych kitkow dostępnych w ofercie
CoffeeTEAM Pro good with compromises
Capresso seems to have the only coffee maker plus grinder that meets our needs. The bean hopper is too small, the security features kind of annoying, and it seems better than the CoffeeTeam TS it is replacing.
You shipped two units. Neither
You shipped two units. Neither would work. Not good quality control.
Bad
Love the fresh ground coffee!
Easy to use - and the best flavor of freshly ground coffee beans!
Product Review
I have had a different model Capresso coffee pot for 30 years. They make delicious, consistant coffee. This pot has been a problem from the start. There is no strength control. It does not make good coffee. Finally this morning I gave up and returned to a different model pot. I wouldn't recommend this model. My daughter has had the same experience with this pot
Love the combo grinder and brewer. Save time and so convenient.
Love the combo grind and brew. Got it at a great price so I can't complain. This one valves at $200 plus a $25 extra glass carfes. I got it for $35 sh/h included on ebay. Cons: Pricey if you buy it brand new. Coffee grinds can get stuck in the chute so you need brush or clean it out. Avoid using greasy beans, can clog chute quicker. Pros: Quick, easy convenient for freshly grinded coffee with each brew. Just add water and you're ready to brew. No need to grind separately and transfer the grind. Comes with permanent filter. But I add a disposable filter for a cleaner brew, less coffee debris. You can also use it as a grinder without having to brew it. I like this glass model over the other insulated pitcher model. Get hotter coffee and keeps coffee warm. Other insulated version doesn't keep warmer on after dispense.
Great machine.
A great machine. This is the third unit we have purchased from First in coffee. We used all three extensively. Great product and very good service from First in Coffee. Thank you.
Well Designed Coffee Maker
Coffee maker delivers as promised. Well designed and takes up very little counter space. I am a repeat buyer of Capressio coffee makers.
Still learning my best bean
Still learning my best bean to water ratio to get the desired strength but love this machine! So easy to use and love being able to clean it so easily.
