Hansgrohe Metris 73820 - Love it

Love the pause button on the top, very useful to fill a pot sitting on the counter without spilling. Also easy to temporarily stop the water flow anytime and easily return to the same flow and temperature with just another push on the button. It puts out a lot of water because it has a laminar flow with no air mixed in, so it will cause splashing, but that can be avoided by reducing the flow and using less water. Also has a spray function as well as the regular flow.

Great faucet

Funny but I had my eye on this faucet for about 8 years. When we finally did our kitchen there it was on display in the showroom. I also saw it in a design magazine. So it is contemporary timeless design bonus it's a great faucet functions perfect . Works well with my large deep sink looks so great. So happy that I was able to purchase it . Nothing else really caught my eye.

Built like a Swiss vault. Very architectural and unique. Love it.

hands free with zero technology

This faucet is awesome! I choose the top button on/off faucet over the spray so that I could turn on the water with a touch of my elbow, if my hands were dirty. It's very easy to operate. Does not require a slamming touch. I can wrap my hand around the "handle" part and pull out to wash my big 45" sink. Highly recommend. I see no reduction in water pressure. I actually try to leave the lever in a moderate opening position so as not to splash everywhere.

Water pressure is too low and we were unable to fix. Very poor product for the price.

Excess splashing

I recently had this unit installed in my recently remodeled kitchen. I purchased it because I very much liked the design and was familiar with the high quality of Hans Grohe products. However, in practice, I have found this unit to be problematic. Most kitchen faucets these days are required to come equipped with an aerator which serves not only to conserve water but to reduce the incidence of splashing. My unit "seems" to have an aerator installed but it does nothing to aerate the water flow and consequently I get an annoying about of splashing from the water stream when I wash dishes or even my hands. I have a 10" deep stainless steel sink which should be able to contain most splashing but even so, water ends up splattering all over the counter top around the sink as well as on me. This is not an inexpensive unit and I find it unsatisfactory that it exhibits this characteristic.

Looks and Works great

Looks amazing. I had not realized it came in different heights. After installing it I had come to the conclusion that the height was more functional for me as well as kept me from swinging the spout to side each time I wanted to get down into the sink for scrubbing.
