We have been using this shower system for about 2 weeks now in our accessory unit and we love it! It's easy it is to switch from a light rain to a more powerful rain with the simple push of the center button on the shower head! The pressure is perfect for my thick wavy hair with the heavier rain, the light rain is very relaxing. Installation was easy by following the directions. We're in the process of building our new house, while living in our accessory unit and I plan on buying this same hansgrohe Croma Select E Complete Shower System Shower Set for our master shower for our new house!

This review is for hansgrohe Croma Select E Complete Shower and Bathtub System Shower Set Modern 2-Spray Easy Control in Chrome, Rough and Shower Valve Included 2 GPM, 04910000 This set looks really cool in my bathroom. It is elegant and provides a very unique theme in my shower. I am renovating my 2 family house and I replaced 10 years old system with this one and I am really happy with it. This is the perfect compliment to our new shower. The chrome is easy to clean. All the parts seem to be of very high quality. The instructions for installation and maintenance are very good. I like how the valve works very smoothly, the rain shower head provides the perfect amount of water I mean a lot of water which I had been starving for a long time. Conclusion: Overall this is high-quality shower equipment which seems going to last years.

This is a very nice shower set, it is just not nearly as nice as a true Grohe set. I have heard good things about the Hansgrohe "budget" line recently. This does not disappoint, although it is noticeably not as nice as a regular Grohe set if you compare them side by side (this probably does not come across clearly in photos). The finish on this set just isn't as nice as the original Grohe, and it is not as easy to clean. That being said, I think this still looks great. The shower head on this set has an all plastic housing, but it does have two spray modes which is nice. The trim faceplate on this set is plastic, but the control knob is metal. I prefer it this way as opposed to the other way around (plastic knob, metal trim plate) as found on some of the newer Grohe sets. As I mentioned, the finish looks great right now -- time will tell how well it holds up, especially on the plastic pieces. This is a complete shower kit, so it includes everything except the piping. You do not need to purchase a separate rough in box, or anything like that. In summary, the price is definitely less than a comparable Grohe set, although the quality definitely feels inferior (very slightly so, most noticeable when comparing side by side).

I do like this all in one kit as compared to buying the rough-in and trim separately. This is especially useful for renovations where you are replacing existing tub/shower fixtures. This Chroma Select E Complete is a simple and attractive design. It is easy to wipe down and keep clean. The chrome finish is uniform and flawless. I really like the looks of it for just about all bathroom design styles. It will certainly be an upgrade over a standard issue bathroom tub/shower fixture. 5 stars for excellent quality, design and finish.

I am really enjoying this new line by Hansgrohe! I like the quality of the design and materials both. It is a full set for the tub/shower, which is not always the case when you are buying higher end fixtures. I love the way the nozzles and fixtures are designed for such easy cleanup with any kind of hard water residue. They work great, making bathroom cleaning chores so much simpler and quick! The design is simple enough to fit in with pretty much any other fixtures you may have, if you’re not changing everything out. It is a really easy setup for anyone who has done any kind of swapping out at all. Paying someone to do it for you, as with some of the other higher end fixtures, isn’t necessary if you can read directions! I also *love* that the showerhead has different modes, which make for the kind of shower you are in the mood for, or are in need of!

From the man of the family: I got this because we are doing a bathroom remodel. The Hansgrohe name is famous for quality and German engineering. Apart from the pipes, this kit has all you need for a high-end shower installation. The 8-inch wide rain-style shower head has high grade silicone nozzles. We have hard well water that tends to clog nozzles. Not these ones. A simple wipe of a fingertip will get rid of scale buildup. The head comes with a new 9-inch shower arm to go into the wall. You also get the control for shower pressure and hot/cold as well. There's an easy to understand knob, with chrome backplate, and you get the plumbing control that goes behind it as well -- the "box" into which you install the pipes. The end result is a clean, modern look. We got the chrome version, as it should last a lot longer than "gilt" fittings with our hard water. We expect the Hansgrohe product to work well and last for many years to come. Recommended!

The Hansgrohe shower units are absolutely the most well made and beautiful I've ever owned and rivals fixtures I've used in modern fancy hotels in Europe. Everything about it is well designed and engineered. The instructions are useful, which I cannot always say about Grohe. Word among builders is that in recent years, Hansgrohe has inched past Grohe in terms of high quality plumbing fixtures. Everything works so smoothly and yet feels secure and sturdy. This particular model has two choices, (the Clubmaster has three, but it is not the same wide rainfall sized showerhead). The packaging was excellent - everything was nicely in place upon opening the box, and installation was not difficult. If you are wavering on the fence about this, just buy it --- in this case, you really do get what you pay fore. I don't expect to have to change this out in my lifetime and will appreciate the beauty and fine functioning every day.
