Deceptive company description - Fake looking “flames”

This is the WORST company I have ever purchased from. I paid over $600 for what was deceptively described as a realistic 5 flame choice insert. One choice uglier than the next. I phoned customer “service” willing to pay an additional $500 for a better model but first, incurred a $172 RETURN SHIPPING fee. On principle, I did not place a new order as I refuse to give another $ towards their unfair + deceptive business practices. Horrible experience and a great example of how not to train your customer service representatives!

So So ok for the price

I used this unit to replace an old electric place. The unit is nice but does not put out the heat as advertised. My old one puts out more heat. The unit is nice for the price.

I would definitely buy this again.

This is very beautiful in my living, such a focal point. I enjoy seeing it everyday, and if it is warm I can just turn off the heat. It is so comfortable. My brother talks about how real the flames look.

Good electric fireplace

We bought this fireplace as an insert for our natural wood fireplace, which was lot of hassle. We have used it for about a month and we re pleased with our purchase. It looks great, heats the room well, and I am astonished how natural the flames look. I also did buy additional protection, just in case. very happy so far. Installation was easy, but I had to put a few bricks to raise the height of the unit to match my fireplace cavity.

We purchased the Classic Flame Electric Fireplace because of its 3D spectra fire infrared electric flame. It's beautiful, quiet & it helps lower our heating cost! We have always heated with wood, and getting too old for the up keep…..this fireplace has no mess which means no stress!!

We haven't officially installed it into our built-in wall unit yet, but we're very pleased with the overall appearance and size. It's just what we expected! It's a great source of heat and looks very realistic especially for an electric fireplace! #sweepstakes

Pretty fireplace, long time to receive

#sweepstakes The fireplace is very pretty, and arrived undamaged. Very happy with its visual appeal in our house. We still don't have the trim kit for it (was supposed to be included but is backordered) however so I cannot review that. I would say that customer communication could be improved, I got so many emails about my item being back ordered repeatedly, and I still don't have the trim kit. We originally ordered this fireplace back in December and just received it in April.

I use it when it is chilly or cold in our family room. The product is just excellent with the look and feel of a real fireplace. I have absolutely no complaints. I would buy this product or current product again.

Ok , here goes. The new fire insert looks very nice. But i am OCD about some things. At the top u can see like a red glow , which is where the heat comes out... But it is off set an not directly in the middle. So that bothers me a bit. Another thing , there is 2 tiny logs , an 2 bigger . So they look uniform, but actually it would be better if they weren't . U know because logs in a fire is not perfect looking. The other thing would be the blue flame. It is pretty. But they should have made it where u could turn flame low , medium an high. This flame just goes high. But all in all it looks nice.. I'm sure most people will love it... An I will get use to it . An my fireplace from this company is beautiful. The reason I had to get new insert is I bought it in 2012, an my insert went bad. So had to get new one. Anyway I love it. At Christmas, I love decorating it.

I purchased a Classic Flame Electric Fireplace insert in the lower level of my home. Have used it as ""Zone"" heating to regulate the temperature more efficiently. I enjoy the variation in flame styles and colors as well as the ability to set my own temperature.

After 2 years without fireplace insert, old one has burned up pc board, I e-mailed Electric Fireplace direct and gave my old model number. I received an e-mail with a replacement number that was a direct replacement with added features. I spoke with Hope Franks and she assured me that it was the exact replacement. It works exactly as she said. My wife is so happy with the way it works. Hope was very pleasant to work with, she was very nice.

Yes but would like to get the rest of our order

We purchased the insert including the trim kit and the crackle remote just before Christmas. We got the insert a couple days after Christmas and it works great but we are still waiting on the trim kit and crackle remote. Supposedly on back order. The back order date keeps changing. If we get the rest of the order.

I'm a fireplace nut! I need absolutely beautiful, realistic flames if I'm going to spend good money on an electric fireplace to insert into my shiplap surround. That being said, I searched fireplace stores within 100 mile radius of my house and never found the right one. Decided to go online to Electricfireplacesdirect n take a chance. If I didn't like it, could send it back. I absolutely 💯 love this one! Perfect with a glass of wine and candles lit. And their customer service is amazing! I highly recommend!

This is a great bridge while I work to replace my ailing heating system. The price was right and it really does put out some heat to our 1000sq foot space. It was delivered quickly and was truly 'plug & play'. I highly recommend this product!
