Reviews

I use Blanco for every client for new or remodel projects because of color selection, options for sink style and of course durability!

This is our 2nd Blanco sink. We love it! It withstands heavy use and has not chipped, cracked or scratched. First sink was black and it took more maintenance because of white hard water residue. This time we got Truffle which we think will not show as easily.

We haven’t installed it yet as we’re remodeling our kitchen waiting for the granite install. The truffle color is beautiful. Can’t wait to get it installed. There are no other accessories included for example disposal flanges. Must order separately.

Love this sink!

We purchased this sink in the Cafe Brown and we love the look, the room we have due to the design, and the fact that it came without any defects or issues when delivered. We went back and forth over the quartz vs the silgranit from Blanco and ultimately went with the Blanco. Our countertop fabricator gave high praises to this line and we now agree. It has a great look with our countertops and looks great with our oil rubbed bronze faucet! Would highly recommend.

I bought this last year but have not gotten around to writing a review. This sink is meant for people who do not cook, do not use their kitchen, and do not put food in their sink. It's very hard to keep clean and stains so easily. The white sink will not stay white for long. It got a crack on the end of the sink and this is after it had been installed for about 2 months I noticed a leak in my sink. And after I had already paid for installation and brand new countertops that they cut to fit this sink. Very disappointed. DO NOT BUY!!!

very disappointing sink

I so regret putting in the Blanco double basi undermount sink as now I am stuck with it and this is the most disappointing sink! It was installed less than 4 years ago and already there are numerous small chips on the surface. They are tiny, about like a pinprick, but because the sink is white and the chips reveal black they are noticeable. Also, everything marks up the sink - pots and pans, food that isn't wiped up immediately - and I am constantly having to use softscrub or a magic eraser to clean it. I was told this finish was the new thing in Europe and very popular because of being so maintenance free. Either I was being fed a line that I fell for or I have a faulty product. But, because it is an undermount, sadly I'm stuck with it. Check this sink out carefully before buying!!!!

Which putty to use?

Sink looks great and was under mounted under my quartzite. The plumber hadn’t worked with this kind of sink before. There were no instructions on the kind of putty to use…plumbers putty or silicone? I went online and read the reviews. It was confusing. In the end we called the company that installed the quartzite because I knew she had the sink and said the plumbers putty was Ok to use. Some reviews said it stained the sink. Very confusing.

Chips are a nightmare

We had a white Blanco Diamond undermount sink installed when we replaced countertops about 4 years ago. It was beautiful when it was installed by an independent company (not Lowes). However, we immediately had trouble with small chips in the bottom of the sink. The chips stained easily and we could not clean them. We filled them in with a light grey water resistant epoxy with some improvement. We would not buy another one and are considering replacing with stainless steel if we can find one the matches the cutout in the countertop.

Love the sink, only one downfall

We recently installed this sink and I absolutely love it with one exception. The divider between the sinks is really low. I would like to be able to fill the sink with more water for soaking pans and this limits that ability. It is not a deal breaker and I would still purchase the sink and recommend it, but would definitely prefer a taller divider.

Purchased this is biscuit nine months ago. I liked it when installed but have come to regret buying it. Everything stains it - tea, coffee, pickle juice, black olive juice, balsamic vinegar, etc. I use Barkeepers Friend and nylon scrubbers every night. And yet, it looks awful. It looks like it is years old and I am embarrassed by it. So happy I spent so much money on my kitchen remodel and have this awful sink to make it look bad.

LoVE it! Highly recommend.

This sink is big. Be careful to consider plumbing and space beneath. I love the low divide - less water waste. The 60 /40 works well for soaking dishes and washing large items. I bought the wire racks to protect the bottom which have been handy for air drying. I originally purchased the matching drains from different vendor and the plumber stated that disposal would not work (much to my displeasure.) Either way, HAPPY, HAPPY with the sink!

Very disappointed!

I bought this sink just 21/2 years ago and for the last year it has been discolored and has little pick holes all over the bottom of the sink! I have adhered to all the cleaning instructions! This photo is after I soaked it in Soft Scrub as instructed and this is as clean as it gets, and the pock marks are dark and never even get lighter! I highly warn not to get the granite sinks! They do not last!! And now that I installed this differently shaped sink when I put my new countertops in, there is no other type of sink, like porcelain, that I can replace it with!!!

Did a kitchen update and replaced our stainless double sink with this Blanco 60/40. I am a two drain girl and could never live with a single. No farmhouse sink for me! This low divide is perfect for me. Must have soapy water in one sink while I work In the kitchen and clean up as I go, while still having access to the garbage disposal. The large side is a bit larger and deeper than the previous sink and holds most things fine and the low divide makes rinsing large things easy. Its is easy to wipe down and I love the truffle color too.

The sink is so beautiful. Installed in our kitchen Jan 2020 in our new kitchen. We did have a problem with the installation of the garbage disposal fittings did not match. Finally we found one that our contractor ‘made work’ . We have faithfully kept clean. Recently I put dishes in the sink with Dawn soap to be handwashed after soaking. After i washed those dishes... i cleaned & dried the sink. The next day there a definitive ‘ring’ around the sink where the soap level had been AND the sink is a faded lighter color where soap had been. Dishes were only in the sink for 30 minutes or less. Now my beautiful is noticeable faded.

This is the sink that has stolen my heart. I absolutely LOVE it. It is total quality and looks like a million bucks. It was exactly what I needed for my kitchen do over (NOT a remodel) It is nice and deep and I can put huge pots, pans, etc in it with room to spare for turning the items. Photos below will give you an idea of the size. It comes in a wide variety of colors which is a bonus. It is made in Canada and NOT China. The last photo is a 30 qt rubbermaid container which fits easily into this sink just to give you an idea of the capacity. My middle photo didn't come out so well so sorry about that.

[Rewarded Review] Looks beautiful!

We purchased the Blanco Diamond undermount sink in cafe brown. The color is beautiful. It's only been a few days since installation but so far no stains and easy to clean. We purchased the Blanco basket and sink flange in stainless steel color, it fits, looks perfect, and works great. There is no problem with water puddling in the sink as some reviews have stated. We also bought InSinkErator 3/4 HP Compact WC garbage disposal and Blanco 4 1/2 " disposal flange trim insert and strainer. We used Kohler Simplice faucet K596-VS. All fit well together. So far no problems. We are doing a kitchen makeover and the contractor installed everything, he said the installation of Blanco sinks are easy.

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful, Clean, Deep, Perfect

We ordered the white colored version and have been using it extensively (4 teenagers a baby and two adults) for nearly two months. It is almost never empty, we've washed everything down it including paint as well as hot and cold liquids and we can still spray off the sides and it looks like new. No signs of staining as a previous review noted. We actually prefer the low divide between the bowls, but we don't use the sink to wash dishes in a regular basis (got a dishwasher for that). We really enjoy how deep the bowls are! We rinse dishes in the smaller right side bowl (disposal side) then stack dishes in the larger left bowl to wait to be loaded in the dishwasher. The large bowl means that occasionally, we have more dishes in the large bowl side than we can fit in the dishwasher! It keeps the dirty dishes off the countertops. I'm hoping it doesn't end up chipping like our old cheap builder grade sink did.

[Rewarded Review] Things you need to know

This is a beautiful sink-so unique. You will need sink grids Blanco 220-998 and Blanco 231-342. Also, research informed me that the Blanco black sink strainer was inadequate mostly because of its cheap construction. Surprisingly, we went with a five star rated inexpensive KONE 3-1/2-inch Kitchen Sink Strainer with Removable Deep Cup Sealing Lid/Strainer Assembly/Stopper Sealing Lid, Stainless Steel (Kitchen Sink Drain). It works very well and looks great! We installed the Kraus Bolden Stainless Steel/Matte Black 1-Handle Pull-down Kitchen Faucet Item #: 953734 Model #: KPF-1610SSMB. This faucet is absolutely beautiful, easy to install, accents everything else we chose, and so far is mechanically flawless.

Beautiful color and matches my new granite very well. Easy to clean and I love the lower divide between the bowls to wash larger items. Added the matching drains and they look great. I had to replace the disposal side with a flange cover instead of the full drain set. Used regular stainless flange and the truffle color flange clicks over the top. Only downside to the sink is the color drain flange on the disposal side forms a puddle of water and doesn’t drain completely. It’s almost impossible to remove the flange once it is put in place. It took a good hit with a mallet multiple times to get it in. Even with the difficulty of the disposal flange I would still do it the same way. I LOVE how it looks. I have white appliances and it was hard to decide and I didn’t want a stainless sink. This sink color blends and is very neutral so it will go with any choice a homeowner has. ChNges in the future will not be difficult.

spotted mess

beautiful sink, love the split design...after a week of being in our home, it looks disgusting. If you leave ANYTHING in it with any amount of moisture on it, it stains the sink. If you don't dry it every time anything, including water touches it, spots appear! We have a water softener and have only used dawn dish soap in the sink. I went online to research this problem, and found soooo many others with this same problem. We left coffee cups in overnight rinsed...but damp, I can not get rid of the rings. We washed our hands and didn't dry it out one day and this is what it looks like...
