[Rewarded Review] Decent shower bench, but...

Decent shower bench, but.... The main cushion does not screw into place, it has hangers on the front (green circle in attached photo) and push on clips in the back (red circle in attached photo). This allows the cushion to move from side to side and the push on clips allows the cushion to come off the back rail. It seems like a fall waiting to happen. I modified mine so that it does not move or come off anymore.

OK, but not great for my needs.

Not near as well padded as I'd prefer. If you have skin problems you may need something better.

Padded bath bench

I ordered a padded bath bench for my 92 yr old mom who just got out from rehab. I never received it after several days even though it was said to be delivered. Ashley told me she would have another one shipped out next day. She stayed true 2 her word! I got the bath bench next day. It was easy 2 put together & sits nicely in the tub. Thank you Ashley!

The only issue is that the button you push in to move the backrest to the other side became stuck in the inside and I was unable to pull it out.

I have not had the opportunity to use it yet, however, it appears to be sturdy and good quality. It was very interesting to put together though. 2 people to assemble.

The plastic burns my skin on the back of the lets and the support around the opening is not wide enough. It's just very uncomfortable for me.

a safe means for bathing

At 84 years old I have lost muscle mass to allow me to take a soaking bath. The Bellavita has allowed me to return to this pleasure in the safety of my own tub..

Great value, well-made.

This was needed for someone recovering from surgery. It is well constructed, but not reversible left to right. No instructions were provided, but it's mostly self-explanatory. There is a funnel ring that's supposed to go with the bucket I haven't figured out exactly.

Great temporary commode and shower seat for our visiting son who is a paraplegic .. the sale price made it a very doable investment.

Almost perfect.

As a comode, it is great. As a tub transfer bench, it works, but could use a cover over the opening. Sliding over the opening to get into the tub is a bit uncomfortable. A simple cover can fix this issue. Great value otherwise.

Works good except...

...there is too much space between the seat and the bucket, therefore wastes can splash out. We removed the wire bracket holder and just squeeze the bucket on the side a bit and slide it in place directly beneath the seat, not as handy to remove and put in place, but sure beats having a mess!

I was having difficulty showering & afraid of falling. Put this chair in the shower & can now sit & enjoy showering once again. Not a tiny woman so I got this size which is perfect. Also anticipate that my difficulties will only get worse & this will work as a bedside commode when that time comes.

This is the second Drive shower bench I have owned with the first one lasting almost three years which for me is a first as I have only been able to get about 18 months use out of my past shower benches

Thoroughly satisfied

Easy to put together with clear instructions. This bench is just what we needed to enable my husband to have greater independence and return to our shower after a scary fall. Sturdy, reasonably priced.
