Very pleased with the purchase. It is adequate for our 3 bedroom 2 bath home. However, it should be noted that we only have one child at home, and seldom have more than one shower going at a time.

Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely do not recommend this product. 1. unless you already have the wiring rigged for some reason know that you will need multiple new breakers, new wiring, & installation (costs more than the unit). 2. The unit trips on a regular basis causing you to shut off the breaker, take the cover off, & press the reset buttons top of each heater unit. 3. The temperature does not stay consistent. It fluctuates wildly from 90-160 making showers and other uses a dance of trying to get in while it's tolerable. 4. Customer service is terrible. Goal posts keep changing, they keep asking for more info and changing requests. Then tell you they can't help you. Avoid at all costs.

Tuve que comprar este equipo por urgencia, ya que se retrasó la instalación de las tomas de gas en el departamento y ya se estaba acercando la temporada de frío… y es de las mejores compras que he hecho. Funciona perfectamente, calienta el agua rapidísimo, nunca tienes variaciones de temperatura aunque se demande más agua en otras tomas en el hogar. El tamaño es pequeño, silencioso y seguro para tenerlo en un cuarto cerrado, ya que no emite gases. La instalación puede ser un poco elevada por las 3 pastillas que requiere el equipo… pero a la larga es un ahorro considerable. 100% recomendado

I'm on my second failed unit now. My first one looked like it could have burnt my house down and the second one randomly burnt my family with 190 degree water off and on for a couple of months and then just completely died. I'm an electronics engineer, so I wired everything as specified. This is not a bad install review. DON'T BUY THIS UNIT! Black and decker might make good products, but this is not one of them.

Goes from 98 to 151 degrees in seconds

This unit after a month hoes from 98 to 151 degrees in seconds. Scales. Says 7 year warranty but loves will not respect that and sends you off to manufacturer even though nothing says that when you buy it. Horrible customer service. I'd hive it zero stars if I could.

Water heater works great! Keeps the hot water coming.

Caught Fire

Was installed and only lasted 5 months. Spoke with other plumbing companies and no one has heard of this brand. Black and Decker state there is no issue with their systems but after reviewing others online it appears this is very normal. We are on week 3 with no hot water and will be installing a more reputable brand name for reliability and safety.

Terrible Quality, should be recalled

I bought this unit in Feb of 2021, it’s been 10 months and I am about to receive my 3rd unit. I looked at the reviews left on B&Ds parent company “ Paragon Group USA LLC” and there’s other people with the same experience. These units don’t last more than 5 months, and they take $500 from your bank every time they send a new unit as collateral to make sure they receive their broken unit back. I have 3 small children, it’s December and we’ve been boiling water since Dec 2nd. The replacement unit won’t get here till the 20th. These units are not safe, on this second unit I smelled a burning smell in the house, turns out the plastic on the wires was melting off.
