I was impressed how quickly this was delivered. It was just what I needed to replace the original failing tub spout.

I ordered the threaded version but HD sent me the slip on. Not only was it the wrong item delivered it was actually broken. The diverter piece was broken. And the way it was packed the break probably didn’t happen in shipping. The broken lever was loose outside the wrapped spout. I returned and then ordered the spout from Ferguson and the correct threaded spout was delivered the next day.

It's a very easy to install, good quality, and beautifully designed diverter spout with the brushed nickel matching my other fixtures.

First time website user - diverter replacement from hard water

Build.com has very fast shipping. I needed to replace my diverter due to years of hard water building up limestone and eroding the previous diverters metal. The install was easy, but this one still doesn’t seal up to the pipe coming out of the wall very well. A good amount of water still leaks out of the diverter when I use the diverting feature. It’s better than it was, but not great.

This looks nice and the plumber was able to install it. I am just disappointed that Kohler no longer makes the rear thread diverted spouts like I was replacing. This requires that the plumber put an extended nipple on the pipe out of the wall so that it could attach to the thread at the front of the spout.

Purchased this spout to replace a Koehler that was installed...

Purchased this spout to replace a Koehler that was installed in my home 20 years ago. The diverter would no longer seal properly for shower use. The new one was easy to install, 5 minutes, and now I have full shower function.

Don’t like the front-end connection. Assumed (incorrectly) it had the same wall-end connection as the more-expensive Kohler spout I’m replacing. This construction is flimsy and hard to plumb both leak-tight and flush with an existing tiled wall. I returned the spout.

Leaks - kohler quality going downhill

I picked this style as another style has reviews saying it leaks. However this one leaks so badly my handyman told me not to get kohler fixtures anymore. It's overpriced and the quality is worse than other generic brands you can get for half of the price.

New Spout

I ordered the new spout using the on-line catalog. Between the on-line picture and description I was able to picked the correct replacement product. Once received at the house it was very easy to install. Thank you Koehler!

Easy to install, works like a charm! This Kohler faucet looks clean, screws on tight, and there is virtually no water going to the tub when the showerhead is in use. Very pleased, and highly rceommended.

OK, but still "leak"

We needed to change our existing spouts because they "leaked" when the plunger was pulled for a shower. These new ones, (nicely made, heavy and robust) do not stop this "leakage", though much less than before. Both are for a rental unit and I had to inform the tenants that these were new, and this leakage was normal. So keeping them but not too happy.

Used the polished brass spout with the adapter from an old forte spout. Kohler discontinued the polished brass in that model. Forte stubbed our at 4 1/2 inches and coralais at 4 inches. Luckily the old spout came with the adapter that was still in good repair. Dough tees don’t understand the tube spout is not a place to support and shave your legs. Broke it right off. At least I didn’t need a plumber.

Look cheap materials, and it doesn't work 100%. There are still some water dripping down when pulling the spout all the way up. However, it works better than the older one which had wasted 50% of water running down the drain, causing me to buy new one to replace it. Kohler needs to keep up for a better material and a better functional product.

This was my first plumbing project and it was a pretty easy spout install. This has a plastic insert that you slide over the pvc pipe and then tighten with an Allen wrench or hex key. Spout isn’t leaking so all is good and I’m very happy with the polished brass.

First pull up and the cheap plastic crumbled and it was worthless. You would expect something better fro Kohler. Easy to install and looked great, but I am glad it did that on the first pull and not 3 months later when I could not return. Kohler quality is becoming questionable. I have to replace their shower mixing valve every 1-2 years.

Exactly as described, perfect replace for my old spout which was permanently stuck from hard water damage. Just make sure you are purchasing the correct spout for your tub - I had the quick fit previously so made sure this one matched. Very easy to install as well, took me about ten minutes.

If you cant turn the allen screw to get unit off you can turn the entire chrome spout of the platic pipe it is internally screwed onto. Then, you can 1. Get to the allen screw with a pliers etc or 2. Just leave it in place and screw the new chrome spout onto the old plastic part !
